i dont think its too hard but i just had mine installed on my car for 80 bucks at auto-links i know my friend tried to install it on his own and it took him like 6 hours or something he had a hard time I was gonna try it myself too but then for 80 bucks it was cheaper to have someone do it and they had it done in an hour

the shop is in scarborough i thinik the number is 416-751-8883 it was the best deal i found after shopping around i bought the prostart from canadian tire and i had it installed at the auto-links

It depends on the type of car, alarm and how handy you are at fixing car/electronics/ following installation instructions. For the most part its a pretty simple and straightforward project.
You need to answer the three things above anything else can be said. I did my own install keyless entry install, a 2 way compustar alarm & starter on my manual drive integra. Took a lot of reading on the internet, patience, some cable ties, 3 relays and some tape and it was done.
Will be glad to answer any questions you have about installing it yourself. Saving the $150-200 installation (this is keyless+remote starter install charge) was a bonus, but it was great to figure out how its done.
