I'm looking to redo the carpet in my basement, and am looking for (of course!) the best deal on some decent carpet. This is a play room/wood stove room, and I'm not looking for utility carpet, but I'm willing to go for a low end berber or medium pile carpet.
Giant Carpet has a berber for $2.19/sqft with 1/2" underlay and installation, but it's just too hideous. That kind of price would be great, if it were better carpet, or I'm also willing to install it myself. The area is large, so roll ends will likely not cut it...at least, I haven't found anything bigger than 12x18', which will not do.
