Right now I have a HDPVR from rogers, I don't really use the HD so I want to return it. Now I don't want to rent just the PVR from rogers because it's 20 bux more or less a month.

What are the different PVR options, I think I need something with at least 20 hours on it.

Don't waste your money on TiVo. It's damn expensive for the little you get, and on top of the subscription you also need to buy the hardware.

Build it yourself and have more control over your viewing. I used an old computer and put in two tuners from Hauppauge, and I'm running GB-PVR to record and play my shows. You can use something like comskip to remove the commercials from the show so you don't even have to fast forward through them.

Visit www.byopvr.com (http://www.byopvr.com) and www.gbpvr.com (http://www.gbpvr.com) for more details.
