Hey guys

I got into a little fender bender over the weekend. It did not involve a second party.

I need help please in finding a reasonable rate to repair my car.

I have only been to Accel Car on Wolfedale and Central Parkway. Their best price for me is $1568 with tax.. =( It's a '97 Chrysler Intrepid and I can't afford that much right now if at all. I do not want to go through insurance as it would increase my premiums.

I would like it very much if any of you can help me find a place that can order in used parts as well as have no tax. Preferably Mississauga but I am willing to go as far as North York.

The parts I have to replace are:

Passenger side signal lamp
Passenger side head lamp
Passenger side fender

Repairs needed but not replaced:

Hood.

Please please help me. I feel miserable right now as its only the beginning of 2007 and I'm already in a load of **** with this now. If you know anyone or can refer me to one, please help!!

junkyard's are gonna be your best friend for the price, check out standardautowreckers.com for the parts at least.

There is a scrapyard on the West side of Mavis south of Central Pkwy across from Whiteoak Ford/Lincoln. Lamps are almost never repaired unless its a seal that allows moisture inside. If you have american friends/family, parts are much cheaper down there. JCWhitney will give you a good idea.

I know a great body shop with honest and good prices - Four Season Auto Body on Crestlawn Dr (Dixie/Eglinton). I think the address is 1178 Crestlawn Dr. Owner's name is Jeet.

Work your ass off to get your own parts but take it to a reputable shop to have it painted and fitted. Theres nothing worse then bad body work / paint.

Standard Auto Wreckers is good (google em)

and Carcone.com at Bloomington Rd in Aurora claims they'll get any part in for you.

Be careful with aftermarket parts, fitment can be difficult and cost you more in the long run.
