so i need to do an emission test again for my car this january because im getting the sticker renewed... but i dont think it will pass it... :(

so I just finished troubleshooting the CEL on my car, and I finally pinpointed the problem... :)

what is your point? are you venting or asking for help on getting it to pass? If you're asking for help, do the test first before you start spending money on stuff you may not need.

Find an approved etest repair facility

$150 for a complete assessment. Max you'll have to pay for repairs is $450 which WILL include assessment price before getting a conditional pass.

You can get a conditional pass every 2 years. If estimate of the one thing you need to fix is over the repair limit, you will not have to replace it and will only pay $150 and get conditional pass.
