===============ORIGINAL POST (below)===============
hi, most of you know me as the person who created the official G1,G2, and G questions thread, I started this thread because I got so impatient waiting for my 8 months to get G2.
Anyways quote the mto website here (http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/driver/lsm.htm#graduated)
it says under m1:
# Level One lasts a minimum of 60 days
# M1 licence is valid for 90 days
So if I see and understand correctly, I can try for my M2 in approx 2 months? IS THIS FOR REAL? cause if it is, thats like a teenagers dream come true. Cause like thats sick, in approx 2 months after you get your M1 (provided you passed M2 right away) you can friken drive on the highway with a passenger with your full-speed motorcycle, that is so cool i cant believe i didnt know that. Here I am waiting 8 months for my G2 just so I can drive by myself without getting yelled at by parents. When all along, I could've got an M1 and drove by myself.
Long story short, my question is, is that true that after I get my M1, approx 2 months later, I can go for my M2, and then drive on the highway and carry a passenger with a full-speed motorcycle?
Also, where can I buy/rent a full-speed motorcycle? cause I have no experience with motorcycles at all. I just plan to use the full-speed motorcycle for the tests so I get the actual M1/M2 license without the L condition. I just want to drive a moped/limited speed motorcycle. But want to use a full-speed motorcycle when I get older.

Yes, it is possible to get your M2 in 2 months - I did this back in August.
First, you need to go get your M1 by writing the written test at the Drivetest centre. Then, the easiest way to get your M2 is to do a Motorcycle Training Course (done in two days, usually a weekend). By completing that course, you will receive the paperwork to upgrade your license to M2.
I did my course at RTI (http://www.ridertraining.ca). You can also check out GTAMotorcycle.ca (http://www.gtamotorcycle.ca) for more info. :cheesygri
BTW, you do not need your own bike to do the tests - they are provided in the course. However, you need to bring your own helmet/gear. ;)

i don't have a bike (nor did i ride a bike since I got my M2 from RTI), and I need to do my M before it expires (in a year or two - i forgot), is there anyway to do it without owning a bike? I noticed most schools require students having their own bike for the M graduation license

So if I see and understand correctly, I can try for my M2 in approx 2 months? IS THIS FOR REAL? cause if it is, thats like a teenagers dream come true.
In fact, you can do the RTI training course (highly recommended, I did it as well a couple of years back) before your 2 months pass, and can bring the papers to an MTO licensing office once your 60 days are up.
Cause like thats sick, in approx 2 months after you get your M1 (provided you passed M2 right away) you can friken drive on the highway with a passenger with your full-speed motorcycle, that is so cool i cant believe i didnt know that.
Spoken like a true teenager. I don't want to rain on your parade, but riding a motorcycle is a much bigger responsibility (to yourself) than driving a car. As for carrying a passenger, you will need time to refine your riding skills before you can handle the added difficulty.
Long story short, my question is, is that true that after I get my M1, approx 2 months later, I can go for my M2, and then drive on the highway and carry a passenger with a full-speed motorcycle?
Please, for your sake and your passenger's, postpone this thought until you've had time to improve your riding skills. How much time is up to you, but it will likely not be faster than waiting for your G2.
Your training course will include a motorcycle at no extra cost. I forgot how much the course is, but it's offered at a few places, including RTI and Humber.
i don't have a bike (nor did i ride a bike since I got my M2 from RTI), and I need to do my M before it expires (in a year or two - i forgot), is there anyway to do it without owning a bike? I noticed most schools require students having their own bike for the M graduation license
I'm almost in the same situation as you, got my M2 2 years ago. However, I'm planning to purchase a bike this coming summer (graduation present to myself, w00t!). If I wasn't, I would almost consider letting the license lapse, as it wouldn't be a big deal to get it all back (probably cheaper that way too, compared to renting a bike and taking the test, then getting all the refresher courses when you do purchase your own bike).

Nice advice techwiz and d3vil!
I find that if you have your G2 and have driven around a bit then riding a bike (in terms of rules or road) will be a lot easier.
I assume you both have bikes already or have had at some point?
What bikes did you start with/end up with?

Rididng a motorcycle is a big responsibility. It's fun, yes, but it's also a risk. The first thing I learnt in the Motorcycle Training Course is the types of dangers associated with riding a motorcycle. The instructors wanted to share this type of information to anyone who thought that this type of hobby was just for going fast and doing crazy isht. If you can accept the risks and the dangers and still want to ride, then welcome to the sport!
Obtaining your M1 is just like obtaining your G1--you take a written test. It's a longer test, because you have to complete the G1 pamphlet AND another pamphlet that is strictly motorcycle questions.
Once you've passed your M1, you receive a paper license (on that temporary license sheet) that expires in 90 days. After 60 days have passed, you are able to obtain your M2; either through taking the test with the Ministry of Transportation, or through one of the Motorcycle Training Courses (MSF) at some colleges. Humber, Sheridan, RTI, and some others offer this program.
Once you obtain your M2, you'll finally get a card license in the mail. If you have any of the G licenses at the same time, this new card will replace that as well. Your licence type will say something like G1M2 or G2M2 or GM2. This license will expire after 5 years. You can take the M2 exit test to obtain your M one year after you've received your M2 (8 months, if you've completed the training course).
i don't have a bike (nor did i ride a bike since I got my M2 from RTI), and I need to do my M before it expires (in a year or two - i forgot), is there anyway to do it without owning a bike? I noticed most schools require students having their own bike for the M graduation license
Some schools that offer the Motorcycle Training Course also do the M2 exit test for your M license. I believe RTI is one of them, but I haven't confirmed it yet.

I've been riding bikes on and off since I was 10 (started with a small 50cc), but I've been on hiatus these past few (or rather, many) years. I'm planning to get back into it this summer, but my choice of a bike is pretty open: BMW 650GS, Honda Shadow 750, SV650

first let me thank techwiz, D-3vil, and MadCow for their useful contributions to this thread and giving it a boost. But i'd especially like to thank D-3vil for his bit
"Spoken like a true teenager. I don't want to rain on your parade, but riding a motorcycle is a much bigger responsibility (to yourself) than driving a car. As for carrying a passenger, you will need time to refine your riding skills before you can handle the added difficulty."
that just made my day, it makes me as a teenager feel welcomed and not hated upon in a forum designed mostly for adults that are pro. Also I like how he quotes bits of my post and nicely seperates them so I can see what I said and his reply.
Quote MadCow "because you have to complete the G1 pamphlet AND another pamphlet that is strictly motorcycle questions."
is the motorcycle questions easy? cause if its not then that makes M1 hard to obtain for me.
Quote MadCow again "You can take the M2 exit test to obtain your M one year after you've received your M2 (8 months, if you've completed the training course)."
I thought i read on the mto site somewhere it said 22 months, 18 months with training course. Did you mix up M2 exit with G2 exit?
Also, not quite clear on this, you do your M1 at a drivetest place, and you can do your M2 at a school in this case. RTI? so you get ur M2 License and stuff at this RTI place?
Quote Techwiz "However, you need to bring your own helmet/gear."
Ok, where can I buy a motorcycle helmet and how much? Also what other gear do you need? I thought all you need is a helmet since motorcycle is provided.
Also, are motorcycles cheaper than cars? also how is their insurance? cause I cant afford insurance on a car myself, so i was thinking of getting a motorcycle.
Could someone please list the price of a decent motorcycle and the monthly insurance costs for it as a teenager. Thanks!

I don't have a bike yet as I just got my M2 in August, but I will consider getting one next year. I will probably get a Ninja.
Quote MadCow "because you have to complete the G1 pamphlet AND another pamphlet that is strictly motorcycle questions."

I wouldn't say that they are too hard - as long as you go over the Motorcycle handbook, you should be okay. The 20 or so questions covers the things every motorcycle rider should know, so I'd say it's pretty important that you don't do too poorly.
Quote MadCow again "You can take the M2 exit test to obtain your M one year after you've received your M2 (8 months, if you've completed the training course)."
I thought i read on the mto site somewhere it said 22 months, 18 months with training course. Did you mix up M2 exit with G2 exit?
I think he must have mixed up the two, as I'm pretty sure it's longer than 8-12 months.
Also, not quite clear on this, you do your M1 at a drivetest place, and you can do your M2 at a school in this case. RTI? so you get ur M2 License and stuff at this RTI place?
After completing and passing the course, they will give you an envelope to bring to the Drivetest place to upgrade your M1 to an M2. They are basically doing the testing as part of the course.
Quote Techwiz "However, you need to bring your own helmet/gear."
Ok, where can I buy a motorcycle helmet and how much? Also what other gear do you need? I thought all you need is a helmet since motorcycle is provided.
Aside from the helmet, you will also need gloves, boots, jeans, leather/jean jacket. I actually rented my helmet from Parker Brothers for the course - I think it was only $25, and you get a $25 credit towards the purchase of a new helmet upon returning it. Check here (http://ridertraining.ca/resources.html) for links to stores.
Also, are motorcycles cheaper than cars? also how is their insurance? cause I cant afford insurance on a car myself, so i was thinking of getting a motorcycle.

Can't really answer the last part as I haven't reached that stage yet, however, I think it is around the same as a car. A decent used bike can be had for about $5000, and insurance is around $3000/yr. You can get some quotes at Kanetix.ca (http://www.kanetix.ca). You might want to also consider not being able to ride during the winter season when comparing those numbers to driving a car.

I apologize, I did mix up the number of months you need to wait to obtain your M. You're correct about the 22-month and 18-month interval.
As for insurance, Statefarm seems to be the only company that does not charge a sport bike penalty. However, to insure you motorcycle with Statefarm, you need to also insure a car with them as well. I was once told that you can get insurance with Statefarm if you have both their life insurance and motorcycle insurance, but I'm not too sure on that.
Some bikes that don't carry a sport bike surcharge with insurance companies include:
Suzuki GS500
Suzuki Katana
Suzuki SV650 (I think)
Kawasaki Ninja 250 & 500
The first year you pay for insurance is always going to be fairly high. You can expect a 17 to 24-year old to pay anywhere between $2000+ per year. Many people have said that you get a significant discount in your second year, as long as you did not receive any tickets prior. Of course, the 25-year old discount also applies for motorcycle riders.
Kinetix isn't really a great place to find a quote, because they don't deal with many companies that offer motorcycle insurance. The best way to find out how much you will pay is to call up some insruance companies with a list of bikes you would like to get, or find a broker that can help you out.

good advice guys, the minimum age requirement for M1 is 16 right? During the time you have gotten your M1 you are allowed to practice on the roads as like a G1 right? What restrictions are on the M1? And when you go for your M2 do they provide a Motorcycle for you?
Thanks

hehe... small world, I actually rented my helmet from Parker Bros Motorsports as well when I took the RTI course. I think they're the only ones in the Toronto area that will do rentals. Helmet was (almost) new, and I ended up buying a helmet upon returning the rental. I actually recommend you rent first, as that will help you discover what to look for in a helmet.
Aside from the helmet, you'll also need to bring leather gloves and proper riding attire (RTI's website has a pretty good descriptions of everything needed, www.ridertraining.ca)
As far as insurance is concerned, I suggest heading over to www.gtamotorcycle.com, the forum is filled with good info about where to find cheap insurance. While your car insurance company may insure motorcycles as well, chances are they'll do so for pretty high premiums.
One misconception is that it's cheaper to ride a bike than to own a car. I believe it's the other way around. The initial investment is higher for a motorcycle (gotta buy the bike, gear, higher initial insurance etc), but the maintenance costs are likely higher for a car. But when you consider that you can use the car all-year round, it's a more attractive option.

Restrictions include:
-your blood alcohol level must be zero;
-you must ride only during daylight hours (1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset);
-you must not ride on highways with speed limits of more than 80 km/h except highways 11, 17, 61, 69, 71, 101, 102, 144, 655;
-you cannot carry passengers. Parker Bros is a great place to rent a helmet, as well as purchase your gear from. They have plenty of friendly and knowledgeable staff. The cost of renting a helmet is about $30, and if you decide to buy a helmet from them afterwards, that amount is credited to your purchase.

Is it cheaper to insure a LSM like the one below:

for those interested in getting a bike, be prepared for the initial outlay in cash, even getting an old beater is far from cheap
sure the bike might cost you $1500 for something that's twenty years old and in rough shape, but then on top of that you have to pay for gear (~$500-1000 to get you started) as well as a full years of insurance before you can start riding
you also have to be prepared that as a beginner, there is a very very high chance that you will crash, just due to how much mental and physical activity is involved with riding a bike, there is a huge learning curve involved, even after you've passed the course
getting past that, riding is one of the most enjoyable things you can do and definitely a great way to commute

Insurance companies base your premium on the size of the motorcycle's engine. In this case, limited-speed motorcycles would be cheaper to insure in general. It would all depend on the engine size you plan to go with (50cc to 250cc). You can still expect to pay upwards to $2000 in insurance for the first year, though.
There are places that rent motorcycles, but the only ones I've seen rent the high-end sportbikes. These are the places that also rent exotic cars, and you can expect to pay quite a bit for a bike that's been used and abused so you can do the same yourself. Many of the exotic car rental places you can find in the yellow pages would rent out motorcycles.

This kid must be rich, rich, rich!! I think he way underestimates how much getting on a bike costs, I'd say my first year cost me around $10,000, and that was with a 6 year old bike, and minimal insurance.
The biggest favour you can do yourself is to drive a car before you get onto a bike. I logged well over 100,000kms before I got on a bike for the first time, and I can tell you, it's a whole other ball game. You don't have time to think about what's going on around you, you need to be constantly reacting. Cagers have no respect for motorcycles, and you are constantly pulling yourself out of dangerous situations... there's an old rider saying that goes "Completely invisable and silent as a mouse" because the #1 thing you hear from a cager that just hit motorcyclest is "I didn't see it."
Granted there is absolutely nothing on earth like going out for a ride on a Sunday morning and you will absolutely love it, just wait until you've got a few years of driving a cage under your belt before you start riding.
And for your own sake, always always always (I can't say it enough) wear your gear, and I mean all of your gear, not just your helmet, all your leathers. I don't mean a Danier fancy jacket, I mean real motorcycle leather, because there's a HUGE difference.
Don't be a Squid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squid_%28motorcycle%29). And when you got to GTAMotorcycles.com make sure to stop by the "Fallen Riders" forum.

I totally forgot about this thread I made, I guess I just left it because the questions were answered and there were no questions left. But anyways I now have more questions.
http://i18.tinypic.com/2d8jn69.jpg
K, so I looked on the drivetest website and it says LM1, so does that mean I do the written test at that center and I can only get a LM1 license?
Also, what discouraged me from wanting to drive a full-speed motorcycle was the clothing you have to buy, cause you have to wear special clothing, and I do not want to wear those clothing just so i can drive a full-speed motorcycle. So my question is, if I drive a limited-speed motorcycle, am I allowed to wear my normal clothes? or do I still have to wear that special motorcycle clothing?

LM is a restricted use motorcycle license allowing you to ride a scooter only, you still have to pass the same m1 and m2 testing though as if you would for a motorcycle so I'm not quite sure what the point is.
Also you don't need anything special for either a scooter or a motorcycle besides a DOT approved helmet. Definitely not a bad idea to buy some motorcycle specific clothing though for either case, but not legally neccessary. In the summer you'll see many an idiot riding a 1000cc bike in a tank top and flip flops, and a helmet of course.

I think the L condition is only applied to M2 and M licenses, where you will get the L condition added to your license if you complete the M1 exit test on a limited-speed motorcycle. (You might be able to get it added on your M1, but I'm not sure and I don't think it would make much of a difference).
You don't have to wear motorcycle gear while riding a full-speed motorcycle, but it is strongly recommended (in case you fall). I don't think anybody is stopping you from wearing normal clothing on a limited-speed or full-speed motorcycle - I mean, I have seen people riding in t-shirts before. But just think about what would happen if and when they fall - would you rather fall in protective gear, or fall in your bare skin? The choice is yours. If you take a motorcycle safety course, they will discuss about this in the 3hr classroom session.
With that said, you still have to wear full motorcycle gear when doing the motorcycle training courses, limited speed or not.

don't think I can be much clearer here, you can wear whatever clothing you want while operating either a scooter or a motorcycle, there are zero legal requirements for either besides a DOT helmet
for the test, if you are doing it through a ministry approved course (RTI, Humber, etc.) which I would highly reccomend, the course facility will require helmet, gloves, jean or leather jacket, and boots, that is simply for the duration of the course to cover their legal behinds. If you do the test at a drive test facility they don't require anything but a helmet as mandated by the law

Its just me simply asking if I can wear reg. clothes for the tests and when im driving around in an LSM. remember the key thing here im talking about: LSM, NOT fsm.

In Ottawa, you are required to have a helmet, leather jacket, a tough workboot or riding boot (covers ankle), real denim jeans or leather pants and leather gloves (even 10$ gardening gloves) to take their course.
On the road, you can go in flip flops, shorts and a tshirt as long as you have a helmet.
I've dropped 2500$ on gear, and that's not on expensive stuff. I have 1 helmet, a 2-piece leather suit, synthetic pants, synthetic jacket, and riding boots and gloves. It adds up :(
Check your insurance BEFORE you start down this road thinking it will be cheap.

What's the situation regarding insurance for people borrowing someone else's bike for the day. For a car, you would be insured under the owner's insurance, as long as you don't live in the same household, but what about for a bike?

I assume its the same as a car.
If you borrow someone else's car, you are covered by the insurance on that car. However, if you are involved in an accident, the owner's record, not yours, will be affected. If you borrow a car on a regular basis, ask your broker to arrange a special clause in your policy to cover your use.

sry to revive a dead thread, but luckily my posting comes just in time with you bump ;)
i've been doing on multiple threads on RFD and gtamc and the MTO site (although it's impossible to find things), and i can't seem to find this question answered. so my question is this:
What are the minimum requirements that classify a full-speed motorcycle as a full-speed?
my confusion arises from this, which i found this in the FAQs section (http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/driver/lsm-faq.htm#4) of the MTO site:
"4. If my LSM or moped does not comply with the definition will it be licensed?
No. If your vehicle does not comply with the definition of a limited-speed motorcycle or moped and it is not a full-speed motorcycle, it will not be registered."
I know that only 50cc (or less) scooters qualify as LSM, however based on reviews I've read of 50cc scooters (mainly the 2007 piaggio fly 50), I have a feeling that it won't give me enough accel to keep up with traffic on a 60km/h road like bayview ave, and i'll really be feeling the road on a 50cc scooter. so I'm thinking of getting something around a piaggio fly 150.
So I guess my real question is, would a scooter with a power rating of 125cc-250cc be considered a "non-registerable" vehicle or a full-speed motorcycle?
And if it counts as a full-speed motorcycle, does this mean i'll get a normal m2 license if I pass the m1 road test on a 150cc scooter?
EDIT: don't worry about answering, I got the answer on another thread :)

With an M1 (just the written test) can you ride at all? I noticed it says you can't have any passsengers, so after writing this test you can then buy a bike and already be on the road by yourself the next day? (providing you meet the strict guidelines... ride in daylight, 0% alcohol level, etc)
And then since your M1 lasts 90 days, but you can't take your M2 until day 60, this means that you have to take and pass your M2 between the 60 and 90 day range of your M1 license, is this right?

Not recommended if you are new but yes, the law said you can ride with the restrictions noted. Don't foget you will need insurance, public road is a shared facility and there are road hazards.
And then since your M1 lasts 90 days, but you can't take your M2 until day 60, this means that you have to take and pass your M2 between the 60 and 90 day range of your M1 license, is this right?
Assuming you have an M1, you can goto a course and take the exam for M2 before 60days, if you pass, examiner will give you a sealed envelope, do not open it yourself, once 60days passed (and before the 90days expiry), you can take it to MTO to upgrade your M1 lic. to M2.

http://i18.tinypic.com/2d8jn69.jpg
K, so I looked on the drivetest website and it says LM1, so does that mean I do the written test at that center and I can only get a LM1 license?
Also, what discouraged me from wanting to drive a full-speed motorcycle was the clothing you have to buy, cause you have to wear special clothing, and I do not want to wear those clothing just so i can drive a full-speed motorcycle. So my question is, if I drive a limited-speed motorcycle, am I allowed to wear my normal clothes? or do I still have to wear that special motorcycle clothing?
i dont think anyone answered this question. and im also in a similar situation/have a similar question.
how come all the testing locations in toronto just list LM1....does that mean i cant get my M1 there?
because that would totally suck if they dont offer M1 license in toronto....or is it because their site is confusing and the LM1 indicated incluced M1

Yes, you can get your M1 there. The L is simply a condition added to your license to indicate that you can only ride LSM's, and is added if you ask for it.
Psycho44
Apr 18th, 2008, 10:48 PM
the "L" is added for when you take the road test with a bike 50cc or less. Otherwise all written test are the same and you can ride the next day provided you've got insurance and ownership papers in order.
If you need a good rate and have been driving with "G" license at least 5 years or more with a clean record, I'd recommend getting a quote from Statefarm.

Hello hellohi, you cannot do that unfortunately.
If you had a G1M2 license, then you could take your g1 exit to hopefully get a G2M2. So if you just have an M2, you CANNOT do a G1 exit test.

Hi, I'd just like to update you on this. I went to the drivetest and they said I could take a G1 exit test on M2. You cannot book your test online because they need to physically add G1 to the M2 license.
Good idea to get your M2 license first if you don't have your G1 to avoid paying written test twice

You can definitely attempt to take the M1X outside of the course, but you will likely fail on your first attempt. Take the course, and learn the skills you need to be safe on the roads. It's not a lot of money, and you are pretty much guaranteed to pass (if you fail, you can always try again for free -- at least this is the case at RTI).
On top of that, they'll provide you with a bike that is easy to handle and learn the basic skills on. You don't have to worry about falling and damaging it, there's no insurance to get etc ... very hassle-free.

Thought I would help out people looking for low insurance rates.
My bike (Honda VFR800 Interceptor) was tagged with a sportsbike surcharge onto it 2 years ago.
So my insurance rate climbed drastically.
I shopped around and found that TD Meloche Monnex gave me the best rate. I am paying $625/yr for $1M liability/fire&theft.
Keep this year safe!

yes, but don't expect it to be at half the price. In my experience, it costs something like 80% of the yearly fee.
Considering that you'll probably be comfortable riding for at least 8 months a year, getting the full-year insurance seems like a better choice.

Insurance rate on a motorcycle is based on the riding season so even though you are covered year round, the actual price is based off March-Sep with summer taking on the most percentage.
Some companies also have a 150 day rule, after which there is no credit if you were to cancel your policy.

May 23rd, 2009, 07:00 PM
hi guys just a few questions related to this M1/M2
me and my brother plan on getting our M1/M2 starting this summer.
but it seems we need the proper attire first so with that, i live in the Mississauga area, and wondering if there is any stores located near Square one that sell jackets and helmets? (will i need anything else?)
(im a small size, and my bro is an xxl - so a store that has lots of styles and sizes would be awesome)
-wat are some names brands of jackets/helmets..blahblah (i want a sports bike btw)
next, the M1 part i think i got covered. its the m2 part which im confused about and in seek of advice.
i need to know of a place to go to for driving school for motorcycles in Mississauga area...hopefully something that doesn't cost to much? will they let me use their motorcycle?
next question, after all that (im gettin a head of my self here) where should i look for used motorcycles?
thanx

Hey Baia,
any idea on a rough budget? I was in Pannon Motosports this morning and he had a decent selection of Nexo gear. Leather Jackets for $299, gloves $120 and Shark Helmets on close out for $109+. Textile jackets were even cheaper.
If you know roughly what size you need you could hit gtamotorcycle and see what used gear is for Sale. kijiji or craigslist is another option, again mknowing your sizes ahead of time is a HUGE help. But at worse you can just ask the seller how big they are and go from there.
For the M1 exit you need a denim or leather jacket, heavy gloves and a DOT helmet. Personally I have no issues with buying used for anything EXCEPT the Helmet.

Lots of good information on here. I just got my M1 and I'm planning to take the training course probably next month at RTI.
The test was very simple, it's the G1 test with an addition 25 questions, IIRC. I went to the Vic Park/Lawrence location. They seem to have gotten rid of the computers, all test are now written only. The only ID I needed to bring was my Driver's License.
Breakdown:
- 20 Rule questions
- 20 Road sign questions
- 25 Bike questions
I read the motorcycle hand book the night before I went, I didn't even bother looking at the G1 stuff :D. The guide I used had many sample questions very similar to what I found on the test.
If anyone needs help or tips, try googling: "Ontario Motorcycle Handbook M1 M2" You should be able to find everything you need.

Just completed the course at Centennial College - Ashtonbee campus today.
Great instructors. Walked in with ZERO experience on Friday evening (in class session), walked out on Sunday afternoon feeling more confident and with some riding experience under my belt. They made it fun, interesting and were very encouraging.
I must admit though, Centennial wasn't my first choice. RTI was booking mid to late September (Word on the street is that they're the best) and Humber was too far. That said, I have no complaints about my "third choice" school and I'm considering taking the M2 exit there when the time comes.
Whichever place you choose, make sure they're endorsed by the CANADA SAFETY COUNCIL and not some fly by night school. The program is called "Gearing Up".

I really don't know. We only had 1 person fail out of 24. I don't know what happened because my back was turned away from the course and I was talking but whatever he did, they took his bike and sent him off of the track.
I know from the test sheet - they give you a copy after the test, that you fail automatically for dropping the bike, committing an unsafe act, refusing to complete exercise or more than 11 demerit points.
They do have some sort of retest procedure I believe as there was a trackside protest but they just told him that they will discuss his situation with him inside the classroom later.
I can't believe I'm saying this but relax, you won't fail! I was very negative and nervous at throughout the whole thing but I passed. I'll tell you the same thing others told me - if you can ride a bicycle, you'll pass.
2 people dropped their bikes during the training. No worries. They KNOW people are going to drop bikes and we know we may drop bikes - that's why we're taking courses... to drop a trainer instead of a real bike, right?
All that matters is the actual test.
Actually, I just remembered. I was in a class of 24 people. They told us that a normal class consists of 35 or 36 people. This allowed us to have more riding/practice time so I guess YMMV in that aspect.

I agree, but this will be my first bike and I will get a new one once I feel very comfortable on my starter bike. I'll probably get the ninja or gs500 used unless I can find a really good price at a dealership.
I'm not really into sporty looking bikes. When I'm ready to splurge on a decent ride, I'll probably get a mean looking cruiser (all black) that looks somewhat modern. I haven't really found my "dream bike", but ultimately this is a just talk... maybe I'll change my mind once I get riding.

I like something thats modern but not to sporty like an R1 or CBR1000. Plus I don't like that bent down riding position.
I've never tried... But the Aprilia Shiver 750 looks pretty sport but has that naked look. I'm not sure how the riding position is. The Suzuki GS500 looks alright too... the Non sported up version with the rounded front light.

I'm on the same boat.
I like something thats modern but not to sporty like an R1 or CBR1000. Plus I don't like that bent down riding position.
I've always wanted an Aprilia! or ducati
you should consider a suzuki sv650n, kawi er-6n, or a ducati monster

how crappy is it to ride under rain or hot days without a/c?
also, you pretty much have to own another car for winter use right?
aside from the cool factor, is it troublesome to carry the helmet around in school/work/mall/eating/etc?
i remember reading somewhere that theres parking exemption for bikes in toronto, true?
how exactly do instructor/examiner teach/test you? i mean they cant be sitting behind you with hands wrapped around
thanks

Instructors teach you basic handling skills.
In my class, we had a 6:1 ratio so it wasn't too bad.
For the basic training, there obstacles set up - like a curve or somewhere you had to stop.
The instructor would be at the end of the setup and you'd have to stop and he would tell you what you did wrong or if you were okay.
Eventually they made a little course combining all of the skills we've aquired and there would be a instuctor at each station giving comments.
We were in a parking lot on little bikes so it's not too hard for them to observe us. For the actual examination part, it was pretty much one person at a time and I think there was three people watching us. One instructor would read the instuctions for each part to ensure you understood what the test was. One person at the end of the test and the actual examiner who stood at off to the side midway observing your overall test.
For the M2 Exit test, you're on the road with an examiner and you have a headset where they give you commands. They observe how you handle traffic etc....

1. Rain and heat suck. You'll get wet, and you'll get hot. You'll also freeze when the temperature is slightly cold b/c of the extra wind. To prevent this... you must have the proper gear.
-Reflective rain gear
-vented jackets, pants, well ventilated helmets
-jackets and layers, gloves, long johns under riding pants, heated vest
2. Obviously... But if your diligent you could ride all spring/summer (4 months) plus a month in fall, and a month in late winter... so if you really wanted too you could ride it 6 months a year!
3. You could lock your helmet to your bike using cables. Or you could get a back pack. You'll have to get used to the back pack...
4. There is a parking exemption.
50cc bikes (mopeds, small scooters) can be parked like a bicycle on the sidewalk locked to a pole, or near a bike rack station. Step through scooters (think Vespa's) that are bigger then 50cc can get away with it b/c parking enforcement cant tell the difference.
All bikes can park on the Street with no charge provided they follow the by-laws... e.g. Not in a tow away zone, permit zone, fire hydrant etc...
lets say the sign says "pay parking enforced 9am-9pm". YOu could park there between 9-9 and not pay!
5. If you take a training course you get your own bike and you ride... by yourself. Its not like a car. You hop on and start riding. Heck... even with your M1 written permit you could go out and buy a 1000cc+ hayabusa and start riding that on the STREET by yourself.
Testing during the course is done by performing maneuvers they instruct you to do. They'll give you the instructions then shout "do this!" and you have to do it.
Testing @ a MTO test facility (if you dont take the course) is done in a parking lot, and on the road. They follow you in a car with a 2way mic to give instructions.

Or he panicked and clamped on the brakes...a buddy of mine did that on a V-Strom not too long ago. It should buff right out :)
If he wants to buy another one, I'll probably have an '07 SV (naked + ABS, touring upgrades) for sale up soon.

Interesting you mention that, I went to the CSC's website and I couldn't find RTI as a certified school offering the GEARING UP program. Humber, Centenial, etc. etc. are all listed.

Does anyone know if the Canada Safety Council's certificate gives you any meaningful discounts on insurance?

Recently (as in yesterday), I've been shopping around for insurance and to be honest, the insurance companies/brokers all more concerned that you took a course rather than where you took the course.
I'm a new rider with just a M1. I signed up with RTI and my course is at the end of August. I jumped the gun a little by agreeing to purchase a motorcycle this Saturday which is two weeks before the course. So at first I tried calling around to get the insurance done and found many companies won't insure a person with a M1 and no course. The back up plan is to still buy the bike, but park it until the course. And once completed, I'll go get the insurance and plate.
I'm going with Riders Plus. They were the cheapest I found. State Farm is okay, but you need to already have auto insurance with them. I can ramble on, but the best info can be found in the insurance sub-forum at gtamotorcycle.com.

Alright, because it seems the CSC-certified courses are being offered at a slight premium. I'd rather spend the extra money on gear and the bike than a training course since, from what I've read, they're all pretty much the same.
Originally I was thinking it might be worth paying a bit more for the course if the insurance peeps are more likely to give me a discount.

Just because the courses are all the same, doesn't mean you shouldn't spend money on them. The course will probably be your most valuable asset in your 1st yr of riding. They're the same as in, they're all really good. THe knowledge and experience you gain is much more valuable than the measly insurance discount. (btw, statefarm doesn't care if you took the course)
You should budget enough money for gear AND the course.

M2 exit

That will keep you busy for the next 6 years :) Training is paramount to keeping your skills sharp.

Sunday August 16th ride!
Sunday Aug 16
highways, not noob friendly
RoadAwareness.ca Ride – Aug. 16th (
Our roads have become a crap shoot and despite safer vehicles and road designs, riders are being seriously injured or killed at an alarming rate.
Last time we had 200 fellow riders in attendance…lets smoke that and get everyone we know out on two wheels.
Details are still being worked on but the ride will be starting in North York near Fairview Mall, passing near Niagara Falls, through Port Dover (where we will hook up with even more riders starting from there) and stopping in Simcoe for lunch, then up through Brantford and KW and finishing in Brampton. The final route is still being worked on.
At the finish we will have RoadAwareness decals and shirts available for sale. We are also working on having a raffle for various prizes!
Stay tuned for further details!
The message is simple...
Look Twice - Save a Life
and
Safer roads start with safer motorists
Please note...this will NOT be an M1 friendly ride. The route will be comprised of various 400 series highways. An M1 route is being considered though.
Riders are welcome to join at any point along the way or just show up and have some fun. Riders from around Port Dover and Simcoe will be joining us at the mid-point! This will be one hell of an assembly of motorcycles!
Starting point in North York will be leaving promptly at 10am so please arrive between 9am-9:30am
Yorkland Blvd, west of Consumers Rd. Adjacent to the RTI parking lot.

I would have come out tonight, had I not forgotten to turn off the lights the other day. Imagine my surprise when I got on the bike and it wouldn't start.
Suffice it to say, the battery is now getting a full charge and I'll be good to go for tomorrow. But Murphy's laws are universally applicable, so of course it's going to rain.

bump for noob ride, it is still on for tmrw!
the weather seems to be fairly stable and clear through until morning. There is a chance of showers tomorrow aft but only 1-3mm if it does come down.
So... we're good to go!
Having said that- noobs, if you're unaccustomed or afraid to ride in some wet weather, you may want to opt out of this ride for your own safety.
Again, we'll convene at the Tim hortons on Appleby/403 @ 10am.
We'll introduce ourselves and go thru a quick list of /pointers/rules/regs, and split off into these groups.
Please make sure you arrive with full gas tanks and empty bladders!
All other details are on the main page of this thread. (which will then link you to a post somewhere in this thread)
Look forward to a great day! See you all in the morning!

Those prices are inflated. If you just keep tabs on them, you'll notice that the same bikes keep popping up. You can counter offer any of them. Also look at Autotrader.ca and gtamorotcycle.com for more postings.
It's a buyers' market right now and it's only going to get better (for the buyer). The further you get to the end of the season, the more bikes will go on sale. Also 2010 models come out in October.
Do you have a bike in mind? You should do a lot of research on what type of bike to get and how much insurance will cost. Keep note that many insurance companies won't insure unless you have a M2 or you take a safety course. Also factor in at least $1k for gear.

Like many suggested to me, don't get your dream bike right away. Get a starter bike first and graduate to what you want. Two reasons: safety and money. Many people want super sport bikes and end up crashing them because they don't know how to handle them. The other thing is money. That looks like a Ducati and those aren't cheap, which means insurance will be VERY high for a new rider.
Here's my suggestion for you:
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2009models/2009-Suzuki-GS500b-small.jpg
Suzuki GS500
-500cc, so it's got some power
-considered a great starter bike
-typically $5K new or $3K-$4K used
-cheap on insurance too

But the companies that will insure with only a M1 license and nothing else are also more expensive and/or will only insure if I move my auto insurance over

I think you are just not reading my post correctly. I said "and/or". I never said that, "insurance companies will ONLY insure a M1 if you have auto with them".
So to clearify: Can you get insurance with just a M1?
Yes, but out of those companies that do it (since not all do):
-Some will only do it, if you take a safety course.
-Some will only do it, if you also insure auto with them.
-and the rest will, but more often than not, it will be more expensive.
Here are some examples (currently, I have an M1 and will be taking a safety course this weekend):
State Farm: They said I have to move my car insurance over, but this may vary depending on which agent you talk to.
Riders Plus: Once I complete the course, they will insure. BTW, this was the best quote I got.
Jevco: I got a quote (through a broker) with just an M1, but the price was higher than others (about 20% more).
PC Insurance: Won't insure until I have an M license. This sucks because all my other insurance is with them.

Wow, thanks for the suggestion Joey. It's great to know RFD has an excellent riding community.
I'm still a noob too... but I've done a ton of research. GTAMotorcycle.com is actually a very good souce to get information, but there are tons of other motorcycle forums and sites too.
Getting into motorcycling can be overwhelming and expensive, especially if you don't know anything about it, but it can be done somewhat cheaply (and still be safe). One day, I'll make a "How to get into motorcycling" post and show where you can save money, where you shouldn't cheap out in, how to avoid common pitfalls, and generally share my experiences getting into this new hobby.

Hi,
Thought I'd introduce myself in this thread.
Started riding back in '96 on a Vespa.
Went up the ranks to a Ninja 500R, Nighthawk 650, Ninja ZX9R, and since '01 I've had my VFR800F (heavily modified) and can't find a reason to upgrade, even with the 158k I've put on it (original engine/tranny and NO I don't rev to 6k all the time lol).
I taught the FAST Phase 1 for one summer and taught the M2-Exit course at MMIC (now RTI) for one season.
Ridden lots of different bikes all over the world; Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America.
First pic is my current bike, second pic is me at the track.
Cheers!

Now THAT is not something I want to hear; hope he's better!
I find the VFR to be one of the most well-planted and stable bikes I've ridden. The linked braking system and steel braided lines work superbly.
With the exception of having to replace plastic tabs on the fairings every 2-3 times they are removed instead of screws or bolts, it's THE perfect all-round bike (racing, touring, cruising).

Insurance is expensive.
go for something small like a CBR125 or a 250CC... or a standard/cruiser style bike in 250. Although most kids don't like that these days...
Stick it out for a year and your insurance will go down.
As far as height... My bro is 5'3 and rode a Ninja 600cc
I know of someone else who is a 5' girl riding a CBR600.
If height is a big concern ride a cruiser. They sit very low... some with 28inch seat heights which is really low...
Its very possible.

One of these days I will join you guys...
Currently my bike is in pieces, as I keep adding extra stuff to it. Ideally this is done during the long winter months, but I usually can't wait that long once I receive an order -- the really short attention span is probably a by-product of RFD addiction. The latest addition is an automatic chain oiler that should spell the end of chain maintenance for me (excluding the periodic checks of course). A pita to install, but the rewards are great.

I passed the RTI course for getting the M2 a while back. My M1 expires next week but DriveTest Centres are all closed due to the strike.
Is it possible to upgrade to the M2 before my license expires? Or will it be extended due to the strike?
The letter from RTI says the course results are valid for 6 months... my M1 still needs to be valid when I go to the DriveTest Centre right?
Not sure what to do...

Got my M2 today!
Went to 777 Bay St at 8am, got a number, upgraded my M1 to M2 and out the door in about 10-12 minutes!
Just to add to UrbanPoet's posts:
For those that want to write ANY (G1, M1, etc) written test or if you want to upgrade from an M1 to M2 (assuming you got the sealed envelope), then you can do both of these things at ServiceOntario (777 Bay St only). Let me state that again... 777 Bay St is the ONLY ServiceOntario location where you can write your M1 or upgrade to M2 during the strike.
Also go early. The website states that they open at 8:30am, but they actually open at 8:00am.

NICE! proud of you mang! I wanted to do that route too, it was actually quite reasonable to insure older bikes! same as a 125 kinda!
Plus you feel like you're going fast like all the time when you're actually not!
You can achieve what sport bikes can at like 60, while they have to reach like 200+
idk, for me the riding season isn't over yet. It's just dying down as there aren't that many rides cause everyone doesn't like cold.
I will try and see if I can still post rides as I get them.

Wow that's sad news! I don't know her personally, but I've heard of her on GTAM. Judging from the 24 pages of replies, she must be quite popular. Someone told me that she's got the same taste in helmets that I do (we even have the same avatar showing our indentical helmet design). But reading the posts, I'm glad that her injuries are not permanent and that she should make a full recovery. Hope she's doing well.

I was invovled in an accident about 11-12 days ago... It was low impact and I just have skinned knees (nothing like what happened to Goldie). Unfortunately, the a**hole that hit me, took off! So I'm stuck with the damages. My bike needs a few new parts, but I'm not giving up on riding this season. My bike is patched up (mostly cosmetic damage), but I still need a left mirror. Once I get that, I'll be back on the road! Next week 14C... no excuse not to ride!

For the Kawasaki Ninja 250R, how much would the estimated insurance be for someone who is under 25 years old? Btw, I am in my low 20s. I used to drive a car but I abandonned as I couldn't afford it. I want to ride a motorcycle in the summer for fun. Just need to know what sort of steps I will have to take.

Call up some insurance companies and find out. Ballparking doesn't give you an accurate quote and NONE of the online quoters I've tried are accurate. Best online quoter i've seen is Rider's Plus's website but they only insure mature (over 25) riders.
Aside from your age, the bike (CC's) and your driving record, WHERE you live/the bike will be kept will affect your premiums.
Just to throw you something, I know a guy who's 22 and rides an '07 or '08 Ninja 250. He lives in Etobicoke. I think he pays around $1800.
Call different insurance companies and brokers. Prices can vary GREATLY between companies. Statefarm wanted $2400/yr for me. I ended up with Jevco - I pay half of what SF wanted for similiar coverage.

This thread has been extremely helpful. As I believe the riding season is over, everyone is packing it in.
However, people like me (those who are planning to get their M license this winter) are rather excited. So my concern (like others here) are insurance rates for new drivers.
I'm a 23 university student that's looking to invest in a 600cc bike that'll allow me to get around during the summer. I know I should start smaller, saves on insurance and risks, but i've recieved the Suzuki 600 as a gift and would like to use it.
I've had my G class license for over 6 years with any accidents or tickets. Getting a bike, is there a range in what people should expect to pay yearly? My parents don't have a M license, so can't put myself as a part time driver (like I currently due with my car). Should I stay with my parents insurance policy, or will insurance companies give a new client a lower rate?
I wish to ride the bike, but insurance is always an annoyance. Living in Toronto, so not sure how much that matters (I assume rates will be higher than elsewhere?)
Any help would be appreciated, seriously, can't say thanks enough. RFD's community is what has me coming back daily.

hopefully the insurance agents on this thread will pipe in, but i don't think that even if your parents had m licenses they could put you on their policy.
as a parent, i was told quite clearly that once we got past 2 vehicles (one each for my wife and i), the third vehicle would be priced with my 16 yr old as primary driver--no exceptions.
iirc, with the motorcycle, you will be the primary driver, no matter what. your rates probably not be any better with your parents' policy/company, since so few companies actually bother to do motorcycle insurance.
since i am much older than you, i got decent rates anyways, so i went with john duffy insurance brokers, and they sold me a policy through jevco.
i understand from many younger riders that state farm doesn't factor in the type of bike, and goes only on cc--this is probably your best move.
good luck, and if you have any other questions, take a stroll over to gtamotorcycle.com--lots of info there, including insurance questions

As said, the insurance section on GTAM forum will answer your questions. Pretty much for us in the GTA, it's statefarm if you're over 25 and riders choice if you're under 25. Don't quote me on the second one though, check GTAM.

Good luck in getting your M license this winter. M2 exit tests aren't done in the winter. I'm assuming that you already have your M2 and have passed the 18 (with a course) to 22 month wait period at the M2 level.

Nothing wrong with a 600. The Super Sport bikes are the ones you need to be careful on. I've been riding a sport touring 600 for almost 3 months. Had a few close calls but not related to the engine displacement. IMO, anything smaller than 600cc is a toy or for urban use.
You mentioned a gift Suzuki 600... it would help if you specified the model. If it's a GSX600R aka a Gixxer, expect to pay big insurance premiums for it.
Bike insurance is pretty much like car insurance. You're going to be paying a little more to start because you're a "new driver". You may have a G class license and an M (M2?) but you need a few years of motorcycle insurance to establish a history of experience. This is the same thing like a 16 year old newly licensed driver. Other things about you as an individual will affect your policy as well. Yes, we do pay more in Toronto.... you'll have to pay the Miller license plate tax on your bike ($30) and insurance wise, your premiums will be higher than if you lived out of town.
I suggest you shop around. Your parent's insurance company may not even insure motorcycles! My insurance company (TD) insures bikes through a separate arm - Primmum Insurance. Even with multi vehicle discount, they were still INSANELY expensive. Most people go with State Farm to start. State Farm rates their bikes based on engine displacement and don't surcharge for class. I.E. a 600 cruiser is the same as a 600 super sport even though the super sport is faster.
Since you already have the bike- first you said you'd like to invest in a bike and then you say you have one as a gift - I suggest you call some insurance companies/agents and ask for quotations. I'm with Jevco Ins. through a broker. I went with them because they gave me the cheapest quote.
Another thing you'll learn is that most older bikes don't carry comprehensive insurance. When I was shopping around, a LOT of people were telling me, " Yeah, I only pay $500 a year and $800 a year" etc... Well the thing is that most of these people had their full M licenses, more than 2 years of insurance continuously and didn't fully insure their bikes.
One more thing. People that tell you they only insure their bikes for 1/2 the year and then cut it off in the winter are full of it. Every company I've talked to has a staggered premium structure... you pay a bigger chunk of your annual premium - maybe %70 during the peak riding months.. June - Sept. (I'm ballparking here but the concept is the same). So cutting coverage during non-riding periods saves you very little and your insurer may not reinstate your policy in the spring if you keep canceling and renewing your policy.

Suzuki makes several 600cc bikes until you say what type is is asking for insurances quotes is useless. There's a the GSX-R, GSXF Katana, GSX600 Bandit and then there's the cruisers on top of that.

Bike insurance is based on the highest risk rider. So let's say your Dad had a bike, has ridden for years accident free etc etc. If you lived at home with him and got your Bike license his insurance rates will be based on your age and experience.
Also, and again this depends on what 600 you have, some insurance companies won't insure you if it's a GSXR, others will hit you with a surcharge. Jevco for instance has a 300% surcharge on super sports.

hopefully the insurance agents on this thread will pipe in, but i don't think that even if your parents had m licenses they could put you on their policy.
as a parent, i was told quite clearly that once we got past 2 vehicles (one each for my wife and i), the third vehicle would be priced with my 16 yr old as primary driver--no exceptions.
iirc, with the motorcycle, you will be the primary driver, no matter what. your rates probably not be any better with your parents' policy/company, since so few companies actually bother to do motorcycle insurance.
since i am much older than you, i got decent rates anyways, so i went with john duffy insurance brokers, and they sold me a policy through jevco.
i understand from many younger riders that state farm doesn't factor in the type of bike, and goes only on cc--this is probably your best move.
good luck, and if you have any other questions, take a stroll over to gtamotorcycle.com--lots of info there, including insurance questions
thankyou so much, just joined the site, can't wait to read over the info at the site.
In terms of monthly rates, you mind if I ask what range your paying? I'm pretty new to all this, but we as bike owners pay the same rate throughout the year I assume? There's no "generous" rate over the winter, I'm I naive to even think such a thing may exist?

what year?
Just a guess I'd say $2500+, but I start calling around to brokers to get a "real" quote.

Just call some agents. You've already said you have a bike so what does it matter? You're going to have to get insurance anyway. What other people pay isn't going to change what an agent or broker quotes you.
If I were you, I'd use the bike for pleasure activities only. Using it for work or school / commuting increases your risk of an accident and thus your premiums. This is just like car insurance. Once you've got your coverage, how you use the vehicle is up to you.

Well the bike was a gift, still weighing the option of selling it (prefer not to, but might have to if I'm going to have to pay $3000 a year).
Calling State Farm tomorrow, representative listed at gtamotorcycle.com seems to be respectable enough. Hopefully a reasonable quote is reached, shall see how it works out.
Thanks again, like I said, one of the best online communities around.

Well, I cut my insurance every winter and I am not full of it. Yes I do pay the staggered amount, but when the math is done, I still save a few hundred cutting it off for the winter. Plus, I do not like to pay for a service, when I am not using it. This is money wasted. Statefarm has always taken me back after. Besides, in this fragile economy, they are not going to no, to paying customers with good records.

I guess State Fame is different, I was with Kingsway (they just Tanked) and thier cancelation rates were that you get nothing back after 151 days.
here's their retained premiums on cancellation
1-30 days 15%
31-60 32%
61-90 49%
91-120 66%
121-150 83%
151+ 100%

Well with statefarm when I cancel, I have to pay up just over hundred, but still works out cheaper then leaving it on all winter months while it sits in storage doing nothing.

By canceling your policy, I assume you're cutting ALL coverage - fire and theft? I don't know about you man but I live in Scarborough.
I have locks and such but I can't exactly bolt my bike down where it's stored - oh and it's not stored yet... season's not over until it snows haha
When I was talking to a SF agent a few months ago while looking for coverage, I specifically asked him about canceling in the winter months and he told me that if I did it more than once, SF would not reinstate the policy.
Anyway, to each his own. If you can cut off your ins. and they're reinstate, I stand corrected. I'm just going on what I was told directly by a SF agent. Maybe he told me that because I was a potential/new client and not established like yourself.

Yes when I say cancel, I mean the whole policy.
Well I agree, if you believe there is a reasonable risk of theft, keep the theft coverage on.
Statefarm offices are run by different agents so I guess they can include their own rules. If he is not flexible you can go to another agent. Same rates, different office.
Your Statefarm agent knows he will lose money by canceling in the winter. Personally I would tell him fine, you just lost my business for next year, then sign up with another agent that wants your money. The underwriter will not ban you for cancelling in the winter. This is an agent thing. And a dumb business move for returning customers, too.

Not to hijack the thread or get off topic or anything but I know that some of you know GoldieTiger (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/members/goldietiger-13914/) from here and GTAM. She was hit by a pickup truck on the weekend. Further info can be found on GTAM in the fallen riders section. I won't post a link because I'm not sure of RFD's policy on external links.
Well wishes can be sent to her facebook. Do NOT call or text her.
Thanks shoe!
I just got back home from rehab a few days ago and just saw the post.;)
Thx to everyone else for your wishes & concerns!
