Had to login to my account but realized my credit card info wasn't on file.
After typing in my credit card info it was out of stock. Boooooo.

For those who successfully got one, did you already have it in your shopping cart, did you have your credit card registered already?

WOW am I ever in luck, I have a ConsoleWatch.com RSS feed here, and I was going to buy one for my buddy who just fell on some hard times due to his mom being a c**t.

Sat down after getting home from work, the RSS feed notifcation pops up, and I was able to score one.

This'll be the best January 3rd late Christmas ever. Heheh.

Yep...that's exactly what I did (both times). I bought one for myself before Christmas, then one for my brother today. I have my profile set up at FS, BB, and Amazon (screw TRU), and I'm using a custom program to monitor the sites for stock.

Basically for me it's log in, view cart, checkout, checkout, enter 3 digit CC verification, complete order.

I had time to buy, then come here and post that they had them before they were sold out :)

Same thing happened to me. :(

Was typing in expired credit card info and by the time I was done and clicked "complete sale" it fired me back to the cart page and said that it was out of stock.

I was talking to an EB games rep today and he indicated that most stores should be seeing massive influxes in the next 2 weeks. He mentioned that the store I was at (yes one store) would recieve about 85 units next week. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. He cautioned me not to spend money on scalpers and that Nintendo is going to start to meet demand. I hope it is true as I am still looking for a wii.

the stores may get massive influx of supply but there will be a constant demand for more and more wii's so don't expect them to be lying on the shelf for more than a couple of hours. We won't see supply lying around like that in stores for another 3 months or more (according to some industry analysts). Either you walk in and find a fresh supply just arrived (complete luck), or you monitor online retailers for their next shipment... (greater chance of getting a wii)

The same with me, it's log in, view cart, checkout, checkout, enter 3 digit CC verification, complete order. I noticed the email from consolewatch (thanks) and immediately click a few times got me wii. It all took less than a minute (would have been quicker if I didn't ponder about the shipping charges). I even had time to call a friend to let him know (there was 85 remaining at that time). If you want to get it online and skip the lineups you really need to register your cc info. Now that I got my wii I will remove my cc info from fs. Good luck to everyone still looking.:D

I don't trust analysts ever since they said that the demand for tickle me elmo tmx wouldn't be met by christmas. It was surpassed judging by online pricing around christmas.
