The deal's good, but not very hot considering almost all retailers put calendars at 50% off every year right after christmas. Especially those calendar selling kiosks in malls.

I noticed that Costco has a Far Side Off-The-Wall calendar going for $5, sighted in Kitchener.

wait another week and you'll start seeing 75% off. SDM has them for $1.99 tomorrow. of course the selection will be a little bit more limited.

Actually, I've found that the best deal is if you plan to do some goold ole cross border shopping in the near future, you can pick up some at the same 75% off the American prices, which are significantly cheaper than the inflated Canadian prices, even with the exchange. Like I had a calendar that was marked $18.99 Cdn or 12.99 USD (which is at most $15.50 Cdn).

Factor in no additional GST, and buy a few calendars - the savings can be significant!

They do this every year - if you wait until mid-late January, they're usually 90% off, aren't they?
