Please be advised

I had a horrible experience in dealing with 10deep

he was selling a k790a with 1GB for 320

we arranged to meet on wednesday 27th at around 6 pm at markville mall

we confirmed the deal the night before, but he left me the wrong number so i couldnt contact him, nor did he show up or call me to follow thru.

It's not the first time this has happened with this seller. One look through his posts will tell you that there was another potential buyer that was dealt with the same way just days ago (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4371104&postcount=6), and that he is a very sketchy trader that is to be avoided in any situation.

Just take it as a lesson to check out the person that you're dealing with on any trade. Be glad that it was only your time that was wasted, and not anything more.

The price of a k790a bnib should be 320$ at most... The market price is set for that price at its max. Everybody just overprices it and they await for noobs or dumbass's to come and get it, or just rich ppl.

awestruck

I haven' tanalysed the circumstances and evidence...but with this much negative opinion of this seller...cough scammer??? why haven't the admins permabanned yet?

Seems like this forum is substituting as a diss-fest open-mike night rather a "Hey mods., come see what's goin on and please BAN this person"??? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/petawawa/smilies/saaad.gif

i agree with you. i just spoke to another fellow member and he was tricked by this 10deep person too.

multiple threads, pissing off so many members?

he seems to have backed off of all local deals. he might be scamming.

it's a shame...we started this request for a scammer handling standard of practice request thread back in September...and here we are so many months later...and not a flicker of light of follow-up from admin :(.

I moderate a few sites myself....and believe me, nobody wants to volunteer for something like this.

On topic...after reading this sellers threads and comparing the pattern, it's pretty clear he's up to no good and wants to attempt at setting up a good scam, with hopes he doesn't get caught.

I mean honestly, short of being a dealer or a phone *****, who sells the same phone/specs THREE times in the span of a week? Who's this guy trying to kid anyway?

WELL...I didn't want to be so forthright/wright?? I feel intiating the thread., and making an effort to touch base with most if not all scam-related threads would be enough to make it clear where I stand on this situation.

The rest is up to the Admins et. al to act upon.

I really don't get how not returning calls / pm's means that the guy is a scammer. I mean, "...up to no good and attempting to set up a good scam"? What scam would that be? So he posted multiple times and stood people up. Horrible practices maybe, but I don't know about him being a scammer.

And who do you think is worse - the guy selling the hentai or the people that want to buy it? ;)

Can we please ban this idiot before he really scams someone? Before he transforms RFD from a serious & fun site to a garbage site full of shills and trolls.

Some members here already posted numerous links of his farces, what's taking so long to take him out?
