I already tried at Wal-Mart, they don't do it.

No stores will give you a refund.Some smaller stores may give you store credit.

Learn the return policies. Opened software/DVD's are usually NEVER refundable. Most of the time its exchange for the same item only.

Yeah, if you read my first post - I know that already. :|
I just thought it was possible for some stores because I tried this at Wal-Mart. (a few years ago with my copy of CS)

perhaps that was in the good old days, now in the present, refunds cease to exist.

Maybe if its the last copy in the store they may let you get refund if you walk back in 10 minutes later say it broken. If the disc is broken perhaps..
