In a nutshell... all things being equal (memory, bus type, price), which is more powerful of the two?

But all things are not equal, be more specific on which 7800 model. Theres a gs/gt/gtx and whatnot. But the 7800 should still win.

Damn eggnog. I could have sworn there was a computer section but for the life of me, couldn't find it HA! Merry Cha-ching to you all.

I'm talking about a 7800GS but that's good enough for me. My HTPC box (Shuttle) is AGP so for economy (to play GTR2 well), a 7800 is the limit to replace the x800. Pricing for 7800 and x1650 is almost the same.
