I just installed a set of Bosch Icons and I'm loving it. Found them on same at a number of performance auto shops and they turn out to be just marginally more expensive than the Canadian Tire knockoffs.
In fact, I'm selling an extra set that's less than 1 month old if anyone's interested.
Just wondering what sort of wipers all y'all are running.

I'm using oem refills (bosch) from the dealer that go for $8/each. I may try those Icons when these wear out.

My Bosch were garbage. I am using Michelin Radius... and OEM isnt expensive unless you replace the blade.

using motomaster winter teflon wipers, cheap stuff.
but they'll be replaced every winter so it doesnt really matter

This is a good strategy as well. Since some people replace wipers every year, why spend big bucks on the expensive stuff?!
Then again, there are others who take good care of their wipers and they last maybe two years before replacement. The higher quality stuff could help with the longevity.
Two equally sound strategies! Comes down to personal preference!
Just don't buy the knockoff stuff.

I've got the Michelin Radius as well. Finding the ends of the wiper blades a little flat... doesn't fit too great.

Yes, they have horrible fit on some cars...
But at $13 (it was $10 at some point), nothing beats it in terms of value.

Did you have bad experience with Reflex wipers ???
Dont label them "crapper" to try and sell your Bosch wipers .. Its all down to personal experience/preference ...

It's a fact the Reflex wipers are crappier in terms of fitment and quality. Everything in life is relative. Just cuz they're crappier doesn't mean they're crap. Some people like buying crappier products to save money, like a Toyota Corolla for instance than a Honda Civic or BMW etc etc.
In fact, I bought a crappier condo than a house cuz I'm cheap when it comes to housing. If you are using Reflex, I invite you to go try the Bosch Icons or Valeo Ultimates. They cost a few dollars more but work so much better. The difference is indescribeable.

I just got a pair of Silblade wipers, and I must say they live up to their expectation.
Great blades, that dont leave streakes backed by a 5year warranty, can't get any better.

I have one of the 'reflex-style' wipers they sell at walmart for $12. Had it for about a year now, and its a great wiper so far.

Winter Silblades at the moment. They streak a bit + doesn't cover ~1inch of either end of the blade on the passenger side of my Miata.
Exchanging them for Flexblades in a week or 2. Should [hopefully] be much better.

I tried SilBlades... they do streak! Just because they offer a 5 year warranty doesn't make them a high quality wiper. Kia offers 5-10 years warranty...

Maybe you guys got a defect batch? Why don't you use the warranty then? They are not supposed to streak.
Heck mine has been butter for more than a year now, the thing never streaks.
And if it does streak a little, its because there is crap right beneath where my wipers sit when they are off. I wipe off the crap on the windshield, and I'm a-okay.
 I couldn't even asked for a better lens. The thing hasn't even rusted yet, or ripped. Where regular wipers I have to change every 6 months, I've been going strong for well past a year. Kudos to Silblade.

I got the radius from costco and am finding the blade ends do not make good contact with the windshield so I am not too impressed with these.

i guess everyone gets diffferent results, i've heard some people who dont like them, but i've heard much more positive feedback from them, and thus far my Silblades aren't streaking and are working great.
i'll prolly upgrade to the Silblade reflexes in time.

I have 3 vehicles:
2004 Toyota Sienna - I buy the rubber refills from the Toyota dealer @ $8 ea.
2005 Mazda MPV - still using the OEM factory installed blades.
1990 Corolla - I use rubber "Triple Edge" refills that say "As Seen on TV" on the pkg. They are 2 blades for $1 at Big Lots in the States and are fine for use on my beater. :)

Reflex on both my cars. I dont understand whats so "expensive" about those bosch, what makes em different from CT's reflex or those michelin ones found at walmart and costco.

What makes the Bosch reflex style blades better is the quality of the rubber and how thin the edge is.
I'm using the Wal Mart reflex style blades on my 2000 Jetta & they've been great so far.
They're $30 a pair & they've worked great so far.
When my dad used to work at Bosch before he retired he would get me "samples" all the time & I didn't pay for blades for years!!

When I had a car, I used the wipers that had a piece of rubber connected to a metal frame. :)
