Do the price of video games go down during boxing week. Im in need of NBA 2k7 for 360, but im thinking of waiting until boxing week to pick it up, if its cheaper.

Some get marked down a ridiculous amount, but generally it's the older titles that get reduced.

Usually most places like Futureshop will have something crappy like Barbie Horse Adventures at 5 bucks, and everything else will be regular price.

I'd expect maybe Gun, Ridge Racer and/or last year sports titles for the 360 at $10

There's always a couple of surprising ones that are sharply reduced

I got metroid prime 2 for $14.99 at walmart, Age of mythology and Rise of Nations gold editions for $14.88 etc

not sure when it came back, but it's been a while that stooples carried the PS2/XBOX/GCN/GBA games instore... all for $20, but all crappy titles....

Hm... I played the game man. wasn't all that impressed. Graphics are beautiful though.

the big mark downs are NHL2k7 for 29.99, Marvel Ultimate Alliance $39.99 and Rainbow Six Vegas 39.99 at BB. R6V is sold out right now...will be picking that up in store hopefully...

I picked up Enchanted Arms, Top Spin 2 and Amped 3.

Top Spin 2 and Amped 3 aren't that good of deals as they can be had for $40 regular but Enchanted Arms is still $60 or $70 at most stores

The cheapest i've ever seen Dead Rising, was when FS had it on sale for $59.99 a week or so ago. That's when i picked it up.

As for the BB deal, picked up Enchanted Arms (cause it's one of the few 360 titles that i've wanted, but never had a chance to find it for a good price). Didn't realize Top Spin 2 was on the list, probably would have picked that up as well. But don't feel like making a second order now.

I know you're talking about 360 titles,but figured I'd add this if anyone has a PS3 and enjoys racing/action games.
Wal Mart had Full Auto 2 for the PS3 on for $45,reg $65....$70 everywhere else.
Much improved game over the first one,and that grew on me after playing it for a while.

Pretty good price,so now I actually have 2 games that are exclusive(and I actually want to play;) )for the PS3 now.
Now where the heck is Motorstorm?!?!?!?!?!?!?:D

Yes, Staples does carry a small collection of console games. Taito Legends 2 (PS2) is good, of course you need to be old enough to know these games. ;)

And this year's boxing day/week is lousy. Future Shop only has Gun and True Crime 2-pack for $10; Best Buy has Final Fantasy XII for $40; Toyrus, buy 2 get 3rd free, but their prices are generally higher. The best deal around should be Wal-Mart, which has a handful of PS2 Greatest Hits for $15. And this is not any better than Toysrus' buy 1 get 1 free 10 months earlier, or the $30 for 2 at Best Buy around the same time. I wonder when will they start really clearing out their PS2 games for like $15 across the board, or even $10 for not just a handful of really old ones.
