Quick question to the seasoned veterans around here at RFD.

Do Futureshop and Bestbuy honour there Price-protection policies during the boxing day sales?

I am purchasing a TV tomorrow that I know will be substantially discounted next week. Can I go to the store with my receipt where I bought it and have them correct the price?

Thanks.

No it does not apply to boxing day.

Well, if the TV does go down substantially during Boxing Day, then simply buy another one and return it with your old receipt (after swapping the boxes).

Of course you have to decide if the discount is worth the time and effort and the trips back and forth (which I have found is almost never worth it).

what if i bought something on boxing day, then the price keeps going down after that day?

Price protection doesn't apply to Boxing Day blowout specials, but it does apply to any boxing week specials (which are most specials).

I bought my Samsung 40" LCD mid november from FS & have until Jan 8th to exchange or price match.
