Hey Everyone,

Just wondered if anyone has ever gotten a deal on cable boxes on past boxing days?

I just got a HDTV and was lookin' to get either a HD Cable Box or HD-PVR Cable Box... just wondered what the history on these items was...

Always as in year round or always as in every boxing day? I'm looking for the Illico one for Quebec... Right now they are at FutureShop $200 for the HD Box and $500 for the HDPVR box... I already spent a ton on my TV, dont want to spend a lot more just so I can enjoy it!!!

Your best regular bet is Future Shop or Best Buy, when they have $x off $y coupons and the $100 programming credit. For the PVR, the $499.99 price is a cent off so you'd need to add a can of Coke or something in-store or a CD wallet online. :)
