Laptop question: Does this seem good for a student?

It seems light,and pretty fast but is the Graphics card a deal breaker?

I know little about notebooks...only desktop systems

graphics card is only an issue if you game. Even then, it's good for average lower res gaming.

You can get a dell 640m right now for 999. Similar specs, but its core 2 duo.
