Wii Component Cable question

Does anyone know of any real differences between the component cables that Nintendo sells directly and the ones I was able to snag at Future Shop on the weekend?

Aside from the FS ones costing $49 and the Nintendo store only charing $35, are there any 'functional' differences that I should be aware of?

I don't know if the 3rd party ones at BB/FS have the same issue. I think they're simply overpriced. I'd go for the Nintendo ones plus extensions from the dollar store (if you need it... I'm still looking for it though).

Check out monoprice.com for the extension cables. Monoprice is ridiculously good for cables. Their prices are insane, their shipping to Canada is so quick and painless, and the cables are of excellent quality! :)
