If this may be the wrong thread for this topic, please move it.

So my deal is, I'm planning to build a desktop soon. Mostly for heavy multi-tasking and video editing. So I'm looking into parts as we speak.
On Boxing Day, I'd like to at least grab a small majority of parts. I've been informed that video card's and RAM usually go on sale and that motherboards/CPU's never really fluctuate in terms of price.

So if anyone has anyone suggestions on what I should keep an eye out for. I'd appreciate it.

NOTE: I'm planning to grab parts from computer outlets, like Canada Computer's and such.

Thanks!

I'm praying for a decent 2x1024 pack of DDR800 to go on sale.

good luck, there isn't too much of a profit, price margin in computer parts.. the most for price margins is as high as %10 on some items. and more on others. but for cpu, motherboards and ram, only %10 markup up so good luck but I'd keep an eye from prices too.. like now..
