View Full Version : Whats the deal with NCIX?

Didnt know where to post this... so forgive me if this is a wrong forum.

I placed my order on the 12th..... it said it was shipped out on the same day and I would get the tracking in my email. Its almost the 18th, and I still havent got anything. I contacted them 3 days ago...... still no reply.

Not very impressed with their service.... :(

screwed me around also and ended up calling a few times to track my mp3 player ....finally told me it was B.O and to try agin next week , after telling me it shipped . first and last ncix.

My order also shipped out on the same day. I used my hotmail account and I received both an email in my inbox and junk mail no problem. So check your junk mail.

I've personally seen the employees at the Richmond and Langley locations completely ignore phones right beside them. Don't know if they always do it, but it's more than once I've seen them.

it depends i think, they will serve the customers there first before phone calls.
but I have seen a few times that happen too....well a little more than few i should say.

Sure, that's good retail etiquette. Customers in the store are more important than one who is calling. It's incredible how many people are slaves to the phone (and not just in retail).

ncix doesn't seem to answer EVERY single email....I guess their policy, or their attitude is not to care to answer personal questions like, "Hey wut do u think of this video card? Should I get this or this?" Those questions are usually not answered, the questions they answer are more like "So, I can pay by cash if I go in store to pick it up right?"

ofcourse they are not going to answer questions like that
they dont know you, they dont know what you need

I placed an order with them on the 12th, got notice it shipped, and tracking numbers. Something was a special order, it got shipped on the 14th, also got an email with that containing tracking numbers for both shipments.
For whatever reason, one went past Ottawa to Montreal :confused:
Anyways, as mentioned, you should be able to check the status of the shipment on their website under order status.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've placed dozens of orders with NCIX, two or three times I got all the shipment/confirmation emails AFTER I received my stuff - either an email problem on their end or my end holding things up, but since I got everything in a timely manner, I don't have any issues with it.

Their service is usually VERY fast. I have never had an Express shipment take more than 24 hours to reach me, from time of order to time of delivery, provided I place my order in the afternoon (around/before 4pm EST.)
