People who work at the store will usually have the boxing day flyer about 2 weeks in advance so that they can begin to set up and work out where the products will go on the big day.
For the sake of saying it, when I worked at BB, we had the Boxing week flyer around this time of the month (15thish). It wouldn't surprise me if your local big box store already has a copy locked up in the Manager's office in order for them to do their homework.
Some managers will share what is on sale with employees whom they feel they can trust, so long as the employee promises the manager that they will not tell a soul until they say so.
So yeah, I usually found out about what was on sale around this time of the month.
That's how they get leaked.

I'm working in a staples and we don't already have the flyers but we've got a list of items that we have to put on hold for the boxing day, some items are tagged ''do not sell more than 10 units at this price'', probably doorcrasher that really worth it!

You could not possibly have seen the flyers at the store, they are not there yet, and won't be for a few days!!

The people who are involved in the production of the flyers (sales, csr, prepress, printing, bindery, shippers etc etc) are usually among the first, since it is 'hot off the press' ;)

The ads and flyers for the newspapers must be published on Saturday, Dec. 23, or earlier because most newspapers do not publish on Sundays's. So, it is safe to say the bargains are known one way or another right now. Some people know already.

yes, sometimes the newspapers come w/ flyers, but remember there's always the paper boy/man or girl/woman to deliver the actual flyer "batch"...
for most, these come on Fri, Sat, or Sun.

We get the local paper Wed, Fri, Sat. therefore the flyers should be out on Sat/Sun. Unless they have a special "flyer edition" coming out on the 25th.

I have seen some leaked info posted on the internet. Not here though. Plus if you think about it RFD is big enough that you wouldn't get an advantage from it.
Still...you will get the official release HERE (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=73) long before the store doors open. Lots of time to make a strategy and lay out your camping plans!
