Your company isn't giving you much of a deal.

This is the Hot Deals forum, you don't ask for advice here.

Let's get back on topic shall we ?

Well, you didn't mention what specific Intel CPU was included, but I'm guessing it's entry level.

Is this branded ? (Dell, HP, etc ?)

Doesn't Future Shop (or was it Staples ?) do the Bell offer too with a 200$ rebate ?

Basically, go to future shop's website and price check comparable 1000$ systems. But I don't think your company is offering you a deal at all :( :(

it includeds a 22'' LCD monitor, we don't know the brand but for any brand, it's around $400 to $500 dollars. A core 2 duo computer would be around $600 to $700 i guess (a branded one would be $700 to $900).

if you use Future Shop/Best Buy to sign up the internet, you get about $200 rebate as pointed out by the post above.

So depends on the brand of the computer/LCD, it may or may not be a deal. more information is needed.

Good spec-wise especially the 22" LCD, but if it's MDG... meh.

My first thought too.

Second.

Even if it wasn't, there's little to no information about the computer.

I think your company is trying to sucker you in.

Since it's MDG it's really hit or miss. The parts you will get included within your machine will be the lowest quality possible. It's difficult to pass up on the deal because of the monitor but I would still try to find something better, from a better company.
