Already corrected. Obviously a typo. The other players are $30 and $20 off, this is actually $40 off. When I added 3 to my cart, my order total was a negative number :!:
What has dell's policy been in the past on cancelling orders placed with pricing mistakes?

Beat you to it. I put it in yesterday's Dells Day thread. I thought it was some sort of contest where it picks a random customer and a random item cause it was only good till the end of the day. Now I'm pretty sure they screwed up when switching from yesterdays deals to todays deal. If you'll notice that the 37in TV is $400 off. I wonder if this is a mistake they will honor all the orders placed so far. I kinda doubt it.

i got an order in for one too...received confirmation and expecting cancellation shortly :)
I ordered mine almost an hour ago. Now I eagerly await for my order cancelled email.

Should have never posted this ... if you get your ordered cancelled then it would have been a good time to post ... but by posting and letting other RFD'ers know (a nice gesture to be sure if that was your intent in the first place) then you're drawing attention to your order ....
I hope you get your Zen though. Win one for the little guy.

Don't let Dell try to post-charge you. I'm not exactly sure of the consumer laws with regards to this kind of thing ... but if Dell tries to strong-arm you about this - stand your ground. Fight the power (or the man)!

Ah well...hopefully we caused a few hearts to flutter in the sales area since their deals certainly didn't cause our ours too.
My tracking shows it getting a new number here in Ottawa last night and now it is showing as back in Toronto....
Wonder if they will have the courtesty to call or email to explain why they are not honouring their sale.

No update to my shipping yet. Last update was on the 19th at 5:30pm showing in transit. O well, if it gets intercepted then so be it. Kinda sucks though.

"5. Title; Risk of Loss. Title to products passes from Dell to Customer on shipment from Dell's facility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping is Dell's responsibility. Title to software will remain with the applicable licensor(s). Ship dates are estimates only. Dell is not liable for delays in shipment or failure to ship by the estimated ship date."

Just got 'the call' from Dell...they were apologetic and when I mentioned the above he whipped out the 'allowed to correct errors in pricing' quote from another part of the site.
Oh well...at least we cost them 5x shipping charges for having a lousy 12 Days of Dell.

My tracking just changed to say it's available for pickup at the center near by. I'll call them in the morning and if it's still there I'll be picking it up instead of waiting for it to be delivered. The longer it's in Puralator's hands, the more chance of being called back.
