What are your guy's opinion on this?
What would you recomment, warranty from Futureshop or to buy directly from Microsoft.

I'm not really sure how any their warrentie work so I probably can't help much.
But which is cheapest? All BB and FS is going to do is send it Microsoft for you.
Does the MS cover free shipping on the item?
Hope that helped a little.

Well, I'm looking at buying from either Futureshop/Bestbuy or EBGames.
Anyone know which one is better when it comes to replacing/fixing 360's under warranty?

Get EBGames's, or Microsoft's extended. EB is an over the counter replacement, bb/fs are SLOW...i had to use the MS warranty and it was pretty darn fast

Do not get EB warrenty - don't expect what they promise - they LIE to sell it.
Also EB's one year warranty (not really one year) is $50 plus tax. Microsofts 2 year warranty is $50 plus tax.
Example 1
First they call it a one year for $50 what you actually get is one claim - then your warrenty is voided. So me for example 3 1/2 months after I got my launch day 360 - it started unplayable freezing. Went and traded it in for a new one - and they guy is like you want to pay $50 for a year warranty? Then explains I don't have the rest of my year because I made a claim. So I paid $50 for a 1/2 month warranty - which because it was a launch system what I really did was pay $50 to give up 8 1/2 months of warranty since I find out later MS extended launch day warranty to 1 year.
Example 2
My friend different EB who also bought the warranty went to replace his - I warned him it was one time claim but what can you do when your system is unplayable. He also had problems with one of his controllers. They had said when we purchased warranty that it covers all accessories you buy with it including everything in the bundle. She refused to replace anything but the system - just pulled a system out of the new box - accidently dropped it - put it in his old box and took his. Even switched the HD off the new one and his. My friend also had a cable that had been damaged - when we purchased warranty we were told it was no questions asked - she wouldn't replace the cable that had physical damage - guess couldn't expect that when she wouldn't replace a defective controller.
Example 3
Second friend - different eb went to replace his system and once again - voided one year warranty and only wanted to replace the system. But EB guy wants to keep the free remote included with launch bundles because they don't include it anymore. So after pointing out that if he takes back remote he should give the games that come in the current bundle he is tearing apart he lets him keep his remote. There is no way he is letting him have the games in the current bundle.
So conclusions from these experiences - I will NEVER buy any EB warranty again on any of their games. I will NEVER buy a system from EB ever again.
As a side conclusion - where is Microsofts quality control - ALL 3 of us have never had a system ever fail and yet 3/3 360's failed. I love the 360 but quality control is needed.

I guess it depends on which EB you go to...
It is a one time replacement..but i have seen if you go in with a broken controller or something that is misc. and needs to be swapped they would do it without using ur warranty...
$50 for a on spot brand new replacement is that bad...even though it is a "1 time"...when compared to FS/BB it kills it...
