I missed the 7950 @TD a while ago so do you think i should go for this one?

Warm at best...as you said, the 7950GT was $250 a short time ago (picked one up myself); there was also the deal at NCIX, with the XFX 7900GT for $210.

I would wait if I were you - another deal will come up. At the very least, can probably do better around Boxing Day or early Jan.

Not even warm. The 7950 from TD was the same price and the MIR was only $20 instead of $50. We should be seeing some sweet clearance prices on DX9 cards by boxing day and the new year!
