Best Buy wouldn't PM futureshop @ $329.99!! Can you believe it, here is what the CSR emailed me back:

We were happy to look into your inquiry regarding the price protection and would like to advise you that the item you are wishing you price protect against is currently on sale at the Futureshop website and we do not price protect against specail offers or limited time offers ( sale items ).

Once they PM, I'm going to use the $25 digital dollars to bring down the price to $304.99.

It's not as good as the $289.99 deal from Staples (with coupons), but it's still worth it.

it seems that the CSR misunderstood what you meant. he's talking about "price protection", which seems to be *after the sale* price protection. you'are talking about "price match", which is before the sale.

you cant compare the 2 cameras... one is compact the other is far from that.

I got the sd630 for 282+tax last week.. PM'd aden camera with staples.ca and used 40 in onlnie coupons. Easily worth the extra 110 if you have it, imho.

How did they screw yours up? I ordered a SD630 and they sent me a A630....


I ordered a sd600 online and added a marker to get it over $300 to get ($30+$10) off, but when I received the package today, only the marker was there, no camera :( The invoce said I need to re-order the camera. So, I phoned them they said sorry, no stock our computer screwed up. This is the last time I buying stuff from them :evil:

i've never done a price match before. I want Best Buy to price match Future Shop for their camera and use the digital dollars coupon ($25). Can i price match online, or do i need to go instore? If i go instore can i still use the digital dollars?
Also do you think its a good idea to buy the protection plan?

Anyone know how to remove a digital dollars coupon from my cart?.. everytime I check out I get the visa perks coupon that I don't want to use.. I already tried to apply the $25 off but it keeps going back to the $10 visa perks coupon.
