Wow, that 22" sceptre looks like a good buy: I might bite on that one

Red the reviews on Newegg before you do and make sure you know what you're getting into. It's good, but not good enough for me to jump on. :( It's too bad... I've been looking for a good gaming LCD for weeks now.

I have been looking to buy a PCI WiFi adapter and found this in TigerDirect's weekly newsletter, http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2513610&sku=A875-1024.

This is the cheapest I have found for a PCI 54g wireless adapter. Is this a good deal? Has anyone used one of these or know any reviews?

Too many deals involve rebates. I thought no one used those anymore? Bleh.

Why would either of the two 22"Acers be considered better than this Sceptre?

just cuz of brand name i guess, altho the spectre one does have a lot of backlight leakage, do a google search 4 reviews and you'll see. but its still a good deal for a 22 inch despite everything.

o and also usually they bs about the contrast ratio, it'll be lucky to get 800:1, go to extremetech.com or wutever and read reviews on excellent monitors n u'll see even high end ones don't get the advertised contrast ratio etc.

Have you guys read any of the customer reviews of Tigerdirect.ca's ratings under RFD's "Deals"? THey are REALLY bad... Especially if you use rebates. And the store's rating is 2 of 5 stars. I really want that $80 External HDD but unsure due to the poor feedback of NOT getting your money back for the rebate. So many bad reviews...

Hi, I've actually never had a problem with their MIR's. Everyone requested has been received.

Was in the Store on Queensway/West Mall today, and picked up 4 of the 250 GB backup drives. Was supposed to be $129.99 with $50 MIR, but when I went to cash, they were only $106.99, and still with the $50 MIR !

There were about 5 left when I was there around 4:00 pm today...
