I just got back from looking at shoes. I noticed a lot of pairs on sale. They had a pair of running shoes (like sprint style; narrow sole). I picked them up for $2.12. The price on them said $3 but it rang up as $2.12. Regular price is $49.99.

It's almost free. I don't run, but I've been wearing these for the past little while to see if I can break them in. They are actually quite comfortable.

They are:

Champion - 45515 Men's Black Astonish...

For $2 they are a good pair to just wear around the house...I picked up the last pair up at the Harmony Center Mall so thats why its YMMV. I'm not sure if they're available everywhere or if any other stores have them.

HEY....good thing I'm a seasoned RFDer...and searched before coughin up a new thread :).

Was @ PLS today, and we CLEANED HOUSE. Shockingly not as good as you did...but we picked up 3 pairs of WICKED shoes for my son at $5 each. BEAUTIFUL SHOES....naturally as sound parents we got them for his next and double next size up to last him through the next 6months "fingers crossed" :D.

There were a WHOLE variety of prices from $5/7/11/12/15/22 etc....I didn't see ANYTHING lower than that so bonus for you http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/petawawa/misc/hello.gif

Just checked out the yonge/bloor payless and the cheapest shoes I saw for men was $17 for actually really nice deck shoe type brown airwalks. The regular price $49 champion boots looked really solid. Might make a good hiking boot for the winter (I think they're waterproof).

Gonna check out the one near st andrew station later today

So was there and extra 50% off the last price or something that I missed? Or were they all tagged as being $5?

I just came back from Payless at Bluebonnets in Montreal.
Don't pay attention to sales tags on the shoes. I had a pair in my hand that were $13. Still a great price. I got to the cash, it rang in at $5!
Bonus for me!! a girl can never have too many shoes!
