Buying Online

I've never bought anything online and I want to now but I don't want my money to go to waste. How do you find out if a website is real and not a fake one? I have a website here http://www.ebiz.netopia.com/yr/door/ I want to buy a key fob for a car from it but not sure if its for real. Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed that as well...I did a whois on the site and its been up since 2004.

I would NOT buy it from that website.

Here are the given:

1) Businesses should be able to afford 10 dollars a month for hosting - They are using a free one
2) Yahoo email? come on.
3) Cheap webpage design.

No thanks, i wouldn't trust it. This is coming from a person who will buy socks off the internet. lol
