Why would security appear AFTER he got punched? Seems staged to me.
Either way I would have liked it more if Carrot Top got punched in the face...... with a knife.

You would think as soon as that guy got up here...security would have gotten up there as well and removed him right away.
Most shows I've seen, you can't even make it up to the stage let alone get up there and start something with the performer.

I hope it was real - the schmuck deserved it, though I doubt he'll learn his lesson. Being rude and insulting is too darn popular these days.

they probably dont have that high security at events like this. Most likely the security was in the back and had to make his fat a*s all the way to the stage.
i dont possibly see how this should be staged and on what grounds? to get sympathy? to show hecklers can be as*holes?

umm... You misread my post. Security should have showed up during the confrontation (BEFORE he got punched).

I don't want to sound like superman but how come people are never ready for punches?
I mean as soon as that guy got on the stage I would've dropped the mic so I could have full control of what MIGHT happen next, and the adrenaline would be pumping so fast through my body that I'd be able to jump back as soon as I saw even a flinch of the guy moving forward....
Yeah I doubt I'd throw a punch back but I'd definitely get the **** out of the way.
**before people start saying: 'well things might be different if you were actually IN that situation...'
I've actually been IN that situation and have been able to do what I just described up above.

Fake. Pauly heard about kramer at the comedy club and thought he would pull this stunt, knowing it would get put all over the internet. Problem is no one gives a chit about him and it looks so fake. Pauly is a decent actor and he just sucked at this one. Can't even take a punch legitimately. Funny, how the camera is rolling in perfect position and stuff. Even the one with kramer was a fuzzy camera in the background. They don't allow nice close camera's like that in comedy clubs.

I think the point of showing the event ten times was to show that the fist wasn't even close to his face. At least, that's how it appeared to me.

Anybody who knows how to throw a punch doesn't flinch, they throw it straight out there and you wouldn't even know you were hit until after the fact. It's one thing for a boxer to be in the ring, dodging and weaving, expecting and guessing on the next punch that's going to be thrown, but when some random guy throws a punch your way, you are not going to avoid it.
The video did look fake though.

45 min vid of Russell Peters damn good stuff. This vid was done in Toronto and there is an excellent part on his shopping trip to Pacific Mall. Great at impersonation of voices. His father is a hoot.

Could be true I do not know. Someone sent me the vid and I got a laugh out of it. Someone mentioned him on this post so I showed him where to find his vid. He gets to make up his own mind as to if he is funny or not. I did not know that it was important to know what he has done in the last five years in order to post about this vid. I mean that if it is new to you (remember that poster had never heard of him ) then who cares how old it is. It is just a laugh nothing serious.
Google list for Peters vids http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=russel%20peters&btnG=Search+Images&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=iw Some of them are the 45 min vid broken down to ethnic groups.

Cops Say Pauly Shore Video a Fake!
Posted Dec 12th 2006 5:28PM by TMZ Staff
The shocking footage of Pauly Shore getting socked in the face is phony baloney according to police.
The Odessa, Texas Police Department claims that an officer "had met with Mr. Shore prior to his set, and was asked to participate in the skit. The officer stated that the skit went as designed and that Shore was not injured in the designed skit."
The incident, which took place during a comedy show in Odessa, took the Internet by storm after video was released on the Internet.
It all went down after a female heckler started razzing Shore during the middle of his set. According to witnesses, Shore fired back, "Shut up *****." That's when the woman's massive boyfriend stepped in.
The man began defending his girlfriend and other people Shore allegedly picked on during the performance, saying "Hey, F*** you, he paid to be here just like the rest of us." Shore responded, "Well, first off, shut the f*** up f***ing hoss."
Then, all hell broke loose.
The man rushed onto the stage, despite several desperate pleas from Shore to leave him alone. Shore makes a last ditch effort to apologize before the man reaches back and plants one right on Pauly's kisser, knocking the comedian to the floor. Clutching his face, Pauly grabs the mic and calls the crowd "white trash," before walking off the stage.
Reps for Shore would not comment when contacted by TMZ.
