Teresa Miller, who sold the puppy to the Hansches, was skeptical the dog did it. "He didn't chew on anything while he was with me. Out of all of them (in the litter), he was the least chewy."

I found that line to be hilarious!

I hate to say, but if this happened at night and the parents just fell asleep at night, i personally wouldn't blame them. I know the puppy probably shouldnt have been in the same room, but if it rarely chewed anything and never even bit anyone how were the parents to know this would happen. I feel very sad for the child but some things happen. Now if this dog has bit someone or bit the child then i would blame them. I know when i fall asleep, its pretty hard to wake me up until the morning(from noises).

Just my thoughts.
