I just got 3 Sony Erikson w810 and need help

1. What to do now? I hear lot of feature gone after Roger change it. Can somoene guide me for resources?

2. I got this at the Source. They only have black or also white one? Any other color elsewhere?

3. Roger say can return phone if less than 30 day 30 minute. This phone you can reset call timer. Is there other function to tell time use on this? Think over limit already :(

you mean you want to de-brand it. check howard forums for guides on how to do this. really the only feature that's locked is the ability to play non-drm mp3 files.

Can anyone confirm Source also have white? I don't see any. What is more rare or desireable?

THey do no carry the white one. If it isn't on their website, it is not instore. It's what employees use as a reference.

dude what the heck are you asking?

just call Rogers and ask them what the status is on your account(s?) to find out how much time you've used up and whether you can still return it.

edit: in Settings->Calls->Time&Cost->Call Timers. It will show you your total useage.

as for black and white...just get whichever one you like best. i happen to like black. if you really want white you could also order the white shell from a place like cnn.cn.

All Rogers phones are locked and branded. The original W810i that came with the 512MB flash card allowed you to use your own MP3s as ringtones. When Rogers started bundling the 1GB card, they used a newer branded firmware that did not allow the use of non-DRM audio files as ringtones.

I have a debranded K790a now and much prefer it over the W810i.
