I bought it cause it was in the hot deals section and everyone else was talking about it and I figured I would get a home theatre set up soon...
but nope. still haven't bothered. still sitting in the original boxes...
what's your stupid purchase? I'm looking for ammo to justify myself to my gf =)

I bought 3 packs of paper CD sleeves at NCIX for $0.99/100, and so far I've only used 1 sleeve, and it's been a year. sigh.

You know that really cheap bullet/bomb/pill looking speaker set from FutureShop ... I haven't used it a ton, I hook it up from time to time.
I was just talking today about plugging it into my TV set and having a go at it ... blow the damn thing for all I care, get some use out of it.
I'll set it up in my living room and dance by myself sometimes though ... ooh the fun :cheesygri

Pre RFD days, I found a computer outlet selling a bunch of stuff dirt cheap.
One of them was a transceiver for $5, I thought transceiver for $5 that's a great deal. After the purchase, I realized it was some antiqueted networking equipment. I tried to sell it on Ebay, no taker, to this day, it is still in the basement.
On the plus side, i did purchase some hardware from the same place and make a nice profit out of it. Bought a brand new 15 inch monitor for $30 and sold it for $80, this was when brand new one cost well above $100.

Lol...I bought them Vonage Dlink/Linksys adapters when they went on sale for $9.95.
I bought one of each, thinking I'd haxor it, and set myself up with cheap long distance. Then my brother in law switched to Rogers and got free long distance for a year so I called them up too and complained and they gave it to me as well.
So I've got 2 adapters, still in the sealed box under my bed. Not a bad buy for $20, but still useless none the less. (No i'm not going to sell them at a loss!)

Everything I bought from RFD Hot Deals are useless, they're hot, but useless nonetheless!
I know, why would I buy it if it's useless. Well, it's all about impulse buying, like all the posts before me, thinking it might be of some use in this lifetime.
