Hello,

I was wondering if Futureshop or Best Buy will do the 110% off off items from amazon.ca.

I was reading FS's policy and I found

-----------------------------------------------
Advertised prices must be in Canadian dollars, and will be calculated as including all charges applicable for next day delivery to your home address.

The advertised item must be sold through an authorized dealer located in Canada. The terms and conditions of “Get it for less, guaranteed™” are subject to change without notice.
-----------------------------------------------
from http://www.futureshop.ca/informationcentre/en/retailpolicies.asp?logon=&langid=EN

Now, the item I want to buy qualifies for free shipping on amazon.ca, so I guess I can just print the page from amazon.ca and bring it to futureshop?

Thanks :)

By the way, this is what I want to buy http://www.amazon.ca/73592-Animal-Crossing-Wild-World/dp/B0009Z3MQK/sr=1-1/qid=1165856129/ref=sr_1_1/702-1136569-8928869?ie=UTF8&s=videogames

and FS's http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10068110&catid=

I want to buy 2 copies (one for me and one for my gf) so if I can save $10 that would be great.

Yes. But they could be dicks about it for no reason (as they often are).

Welcome to Red Flag, but before people start to attack you here, i thought i'd let you know this Hot Deal forums is only for a Great Deal you have found and want to share it with others. There is a General Forum for Electronics or even Off Topic as well.

Yeah, I looked for a "question" forum but I couldn't find it. I guess someone can move this thanks.

The "Question" forum would be either off-topic or in other related sub-forum.

My local FS would do it no problem (as they do with practically any pm request). I suspect with that small a price difference most would.

However, to the letter of their policy, amazon's "free sueprsaver shipping' is not "next day shipping" that the pm policy defines. I've never experienced them make an issue of that myself, I know some have. If they add amazon's upgraded shipping fee there is no point.

The Best Buy cashiers in my area are very annoying.

They would not pricematch with Futureshop in the difference of $1.50.

I wouldn't have shopped there if it wasn't for the McD $2 coupons.

I was once told to my face by a BB manager that he'd PM a DVD from the old DVDSoon site because it was a small PM but in the future if the difference was large I could be refused.

I was just agog since DVDSoon met *every* criteria for their PM policy regardless of the price difference.

Well no matter since it's just encouraged me to look for whatever I'm looking for at other retailers first, for the same price, instead of getting it from FS/BB and only getting it there if it's cheaper.
