So let me get this straight. You want to record from the interet U-Tube to your PVR? only one way I can think of, you need tv out on the back of your or someone elses computer output it to the vcr's video imputs, then it goes outagain to the coax output of your vcr but this time its channel 03, tune in your rogers digital set top box to channel 3, it might be 803 because if its form your vcr going into the coax input on the cable box then its analogue only, and then ya its channel 803. or 804 depending if your vcr outputs to channel 04, then tune it in on your tv and record that biatch up onto the pvr, just dont move the mouse while you record or it will look unprofessional.

I want to upload a segment of a show I recorded, to youtube.

My mistake, the power of a comma.

Get a TV Tuner and record what is playing on your PVR. Then upload the finished file.

If you have the 3500HD PVR like me from rogers, there's a USB port at the front...try hooking that up to your PC and use some sort of capture software.

Make sure its not something popular / trademarked / some company has the rights to or you will get a warning and the file removed. Happened to me three times and my account got banned.

What we're going to do...
Is just play the file (that I recorded last night), record it being played with the DVD-recorder, take the dvd and continue from there.
