Description:
5 Fido prepaid Cards :(
Comments:
its been almost three weeks now. i have send lots of emails and left personal messages on REDFLAGDEALS.COM but she did not send any prepaid cards. She gave me her msn id prepaid4less@fido.ca and we talked on the messenger. i asked for a phone number but she said it was lost two days ago. I send the payment thru EMT but never got anything . We were suppose to meet at pacific mall but she never showed up. This person should be banned completely.

i looked at the person heatware and it looked okay. She does have negative feedbacks but her comments says the problems were solved. This person has lots of posts on redflagdeals. if anyone knows something about her please contact me.

It's two people, it's really a guy, but his girlfriend does the prepaid card selling, he does everything else. I've bought stuff from him, and sold stuff to him, and everything went well. He's not always on MSN.

Unfortunately I don't have his number, but try to find it, or PM and e-mail him/her.

Good luck.

Note: Don't leave negative feedback before solving an issue, you haven't bothered to wait and try and get in contact, but giving negative feedback. How would you like it If I left you negative feedback If you didn't respond to me because you were busy

I see now the problem. You just send someone random money, with no knowledge of name, or even phone number

and to add to what everyone else stated already, you really have to be more careful next time when dealing with online deals. you are buying 5 fido prepaid cards, her msn name is prepaid4less@fido.ca, do you see a connection? I would be very careful when I see msn e-mails that looks not personal, nobody would have a REAL msn account using that e-mail. Either they are mass seller of prepaid cards, or they are mass scammers, you have to be the judge. Next, when you see they have 4 negative feedback, you should be on high alert already, and think twice about dealing with them.

I'm really at a loss with this person.

I've been following the progress since the beginning and last time I remember 2-3 negative incidents...now there's FOURTH???

why do people STILL do business then without extra precautions?

my opinion., ensure your product is delivered BEFORE you pay up. That's the only way I'd recommend this seller. Her prices (if it follows through) is unbeatable...where else can you get a $100 card for $85...but to what risk???

I'm constantly baffled how it is that in fact some traders have successful (case in point hybrid.09's) trades but others have a fiasco. Hybrid.09 you can't admit 3 weeks waiting is PLENTY time for being patient. It's time for a engative OP.

oh, and a pm to an admin

DAMMIT., how many months have we started a scammer proposed initiative, and NOBODY on RFD (admins/mods) are acting on it. So sad.

I just recently did a transaction with him (however it was not PAYG phone cards) and it went smoothly. (Guess I'm lucky? I did it in person)

But from what it sounds like, there are 2 people using this account, both a guy and a girl, and from this thread, it sounds like the female is in question.

I hope you all get your phone cards soon, or necessary actions are taken to get your money back.

Good luck guys.

He is brown, I met him in person at Finch Station, I don't know what happened, maybe he is or maybe he isn't in ****. I don't know what happened, but he offered me broken (fixable) K750 and 8801, I took the K750, he said he'd call me in a few or go on MSN and ask me If it's fixed or not and to pay him, but he never did, so basically I got them for free.

I hope he seriously works his stuff out, but I know for sure his girlfriend sells the cards, and when I asked him about it, he didn't know most of the stuff.

Good luck to you guys. It was just a shot at win/loss.

SOL....it's not like paypal., where you have recourse.....of course legally, if you have time and money I'm sure with proof you can go to small claims court and recover it somehow.

MSRAPIDSELLER contacted me this morning via IM on msn messanger. She appoligized about the delay and told me that if she was not able to get me a working rogers pin by this friday she would refund my money. She claims that her grandmother passed away last week and she was busy dealing with funeral arrangements. She asked me to post this information because I was not the only person who got a non working pin and because of her ban on RFD she can't contact some of those people. Hopefully she is sincere and will take care of the issue, i am keeping my fingers crossed because it seems by reading her heatware she has ussually fixed the problem in the end. *fingers crossed*

She also requested that she be unbanned so she can communicate with ohter members but I have no idea how that stuff is decided.

Okay, I just talked to his girlfriend now. She knows that she's in a lot of ****, and she wants to be unbanned so she can appeal her ban.

She tells me that she sent the guy the PIN 6 times to his e-mail.

Like please just hear her out, I know there's a good person in her, and that she's trying to address the situation and fix it promptly.

I know this is hard to believe, but she just said "i know it just my grandmother died recently and then i was sold a bad batch of prepaid cards and im trying to get replacements"

Hopefully you guys can catch her on MSN (prepaid4less@fido.ca) and try to work something out.

Good luck and I hope Ryan can work something out for her.

Also, has it come to anyones minds that.

People could be buying PINS telling her they dont work. GETTING MORE then telling her it still doesnt work and blaming it on her negative feedback? so basically stealing pins from her, then posting here and lying trying to give her a bad rep

In regards to bembol's issue:
oh and that guy with the paypal....as soon as i sent the pin..he did a chargeback saying he never got it yet 1 week later hes sellin the same EXACT amount and provider pin i "supposedly" didnt sell him

If she got a "bad batch" of cards, she should not have been selling. You can't simply sell off bad cards and claim "I didn't know". You're responsible for everything you sell. She could've checked them herself.

Does she even pay the RFD advertising fee? Sounds like she wholesales.

a good transaction is simple

buyer pays, seller ships, heatware is traded... life goes on. Now sometimes things get lost, damaged etc....

but no replies for 3 weeks, "sent 6 emails" etc.....

it is BS and a deal gone wrong, even if she makes ammends... it would still be a HUGE :arrowd: from me.....

And you bending over backwards to defend them is just odd...... this is my last post in here

Why o Why would u buy prepaid vouchers through a private sale? c'mon.. Even the stores dont offer refunds on vouchers, so why would u feel its safe to buy them from your average joe or joanne? Just go and buy them from shoppers drug mart or the fido store or the convenience store for cryign out loud.. You get a receipt to prove you paid and if anything were to go wrong, you could call fidos customer service and they will take care of you. Telling Fido Customer Service, I bought a virtual voucher from someone off the street/off the net and its not working, they will laugh at you.

Haven't heard from her since the end of November, when she also offered a refund. I believe there are existing rfd members who knows msrapidseller personally, but they do not feel it is fair to give out her personal contact info because they believe that we are the ones that could be scamming her. IE, taking her vouchers and claiming that they are bad.

However, I think there are too many here for us ALL to be trying to scam her. So should the members that know her have an obligation, or at least a sense of community, to protect the interest of the people who are scammed and give her to us?

lolz., but I find it curious that prepaidforless doesn't equate to a phone number....furthermore-seriously HOW THE HECK do you get that kid of phone number....hehe

Imagine getting an email called ROGERSROCKS@fido.ca .

fido lets you chose your username when you set it up on the website.
its basically a fido webmail that notifies your phone of incoming emails.

I am an newbie, but I don't think make your payment by EMT before you get what you want is safe enough--you don't have any control after you paid.

That's the ideal view for someone purchasing an item. Imagine the other person now sending the item first, and not receiving payment thereafter. Who loses out now? The BST business revolves around trust and professionalism, my friend.

I haven't had problems with this guy until recently. I've purchased many $20 cards from him, even got a $30 for $15 because I was short on money. But recently I ended up lucking out.

I paid him like normal and awaited the numbers. Everything was find until when he said he was gonna give them to me he went offline. He came back a couple days later stating he had the card but found out it was used. So I waited some more days and still excuses. Kept waiting and than he disappeared. Haven't seen him online in 2 weeks.

I've only dealt with the guy. His email is: JeramySilverstein@msn.com...Still awaiting his refund/my card...

BTW, supposedly he owns a cell phone shop and that's where he gets the phones/cards.

lol. Sounds like you got played. Whole different person, probably 100% scammer, at least the girl gave the cards.

Naw the guy half was perfect with the cards. Like I said I have spent a ton of money all with perfect results. Until this happened, and it's about the same time everyone else started getting problems. 2-3 weeks ago I guess.

wow...I can't believe this thread is still going strong., and no solid results from mods about IPs., mutliple accounts., or any other useful information :(.

Too bad. Either this person just went "bad"...or someone hacked the account lol.

I bought 2 Fido $30 PIN's from "outlaw307". The first one worked and when I tried to enter the second PIN a few weeks later, it didn't work. I bought them Nov. 15 and informed him Dec. 02 of the problem. I've had a response after a week that he would send me a replacement but have never heard from him since and he is no longer responding by email or reading his redflagdeals' private messages.

He is still advertising other items on RFD.

I have contacted some other buyers who have dealt with him to see if they got scammed like I did. In fact, a few have his home address. I think some unknown associates may go and pay him a surprise visit.

I noticed this morning that the msn name for this person has changed to "Replacements on the way!". Anyone been in contact with MSRAPIDSELLER regarding when/if she will be issuing replacement pins for those of us who got non working ones?

wow...so if you've verified that they worked WITH FIDO previously, and now they don't., sounds like you have recourse. Speak with FIDO about it...UNLESS...they've simply EXPIRED??? is that possible?

She told me the expiration date is Oct. 2007...
What do you mean by"recourse"?Is it possible that she sold my pins to other people again?Thank you very much!

They were probably bought with stolen credit cards, in which case you're out of luck.

Apathy can only go so far with people- before you do a deal you should make sure you search the forums and other forums such as Hofo for details on whether or not the user is a scammer. The fact that this thread already existed and someone got scammed is incomprehensible.
