ADMINISTRATOR: I'm being misunderstood, perhaps I can rephrase and if this is still not appropriate, go ahead and lock the thread.
I can get hold of the Western Digital My Book 500Gb at $230 if I buy 5 or more. I do not need 5, I only need 1. If I can get enough people interested to chip in and buy those, we can all benefit from the much lower price. Store prices after taxes range from $315 to $340, so this may be interesting to many people.
This is like a cooperative service to the RFD community!!!
However, I can't very well go ahead and buy 5 of these if I'm going to get stuck with 4 extra and then try to sell them off, not at that price.
Therefore, I'm proposing the very good price to anyone interested in buying those as long as they pay for the shipping themselves. It's a box approximately 30cm x 20cm x 25cm in size and 2 lbs in weight. It'd be shipping from J4Y 2M1 through XpressPost of Canada Post.
