I'm a fairly new marathon runner (in fact I'm training for my first full marathon next year). I recently experienced my first ever half marathon and now I think I'm addicted :D
I'm looking to register for some local races as well as some out of town ones. I'd like to hear some advice or experience from any fellow RFD runners, especially for running in out of town races.
Is it a pain in the ass to stay overnight in a hotel? It seems like a rush to finish a race AND check out of your hotel by noon. Your body is probably still in massive recovery mode, and you'll need some precious rest before hitting the road.
