Yoga mat, how to choose

I will start my yoga class soon. I am wondering which brand have some nice yoga mat. Or are they all the same? I have heard that some 20-30 dollar from sportcheck is already pretty good. Please give me some advise. Thx Thx

I got mine from Winners, which has a good selection and you may even find one marked down. It is labelled a yoga/pilates mat which is thicker and curls up less than the really thin ones. It was about $30 which is worth it to me for comfort. It is a Hawaiian hibiscus design, can't remember the brand, maybe Wai Lai or something like that. I've had it 4 years and it's held up great. Get a thick mat, the floor is not only hard, it gets cold underneath too. Have fun at class, it's great! :)
