Sad thing is most people in this market have no idea you are talking about the semi pro soccer league in your post.

Its not semi-pro.Players make up to $500,000 a year.Teams avg 13,500 per game.Toronto season tickets are selling very fast there have just under 8,000 sold to date.

i think you should change the title to "The Official Toronto FC Thread" looks much more appealing ;)

but unfortunetly I know I won't be going to all the games so there's no point getting season tickets but I'll definitely watch a couple of their games

and what's this I'm hearing about Toronto FC not going to have ANY canadian players?

At the very least CAPITALIZE 'MLS' so the football fans would know what you're going on about. I wouldnt buy season tickets but I would go to a game to see if BMO field is half decent or not.

The way seasons tickets are going your going to have a hard time getting game day tickets.

I wont be buying season tix, but I will be going to some games for sure. I think it's great that we got a MLS team. It's a growing league and will only get more star attraction in the future with the new 'Beckham' rule.

man if I was a couple of years younger, I probably would've been playing on that field for some tournaments. Too bad, I guess I'll just have to watch people playing on it now haha

I read somewhere, that they're trading off alot of their Canadians for draft picks and other players from other teams.. i'll try and find the article

I think they NEED to have a set quota of Canadians as a condition for the franchise. To "Develop" the game in Canada
