LF: quality speakers

Hi all,

Looking for some decent floor standing or bookshelf speakers at a great price. I'm not sure what I want really--definitely not Bose; something that gets good reviews on AVSForums or that sounds sweet. I'll use them for both music listening and home theatre. My budget is ~$300-600. Toronto is preferable :) Has anyone seen anything?

Not sure what the cost is like, but take a drive to Tabangi Electronics on Steeles just east of the 400 Hwy. They have a few speakers on display like warfdale & monitor audio. These speakers sound amazing and the prices vary. Talk to Gabi the owner & tell him that Sunny referred you for a good deal!!!

You can probably get a decent pair of Paradigms from Audio One for ~$600. Um, of course from their lower series line, but still great sounding....and Canadian!!! All of my speakers in my HT are Paradigm and they sound awesome. You can request a demo in their showroom.
