Hi there,
New guy here, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, if not, could someone please move it to the correct one.

I've been wondering about this for a while, I am currently thinking of buying a couple of DVD sets for my birthday (20th btw) and I noticed good deals at Direct canada for the following DVD sets:

Firefly $19.99
Family Guy 1, 2 and 3 seasons, $24.59 each.

I don't really like shopping online, but I also noticed by accident that FS apparently price match.

So here's my question, is there a way for me to get those DVDs at these prices at my local FS, in Moncton, NB?

Thank you,

-CC

I've tried pm'ing with Futureshop in Markham,ON. And the sales reps here were very very tight.

They said that they'd pm but they add on a shipping charge of 8.99, just to be fair.

I was kinda pissed, so I left the store empty handed.

If you smooth talk them, maybe they'll do a deal?

It depends on the store...

Go to a busy one, since they have less people to scrutinize your request. I tried to PM once with Expansys at a store that had nobody but staff in it, and one of them noticed the $30 shipping.

My WRT54G bought in September was PM'd with DirectCanada though. Sales rep didn't notice the shipping, didn't go check DirectCanada website, and when I reminded her of the 10% of the difference, she knocked a couple dollars too much off.
