View Full Version : Raptor's Tickets?

Hi guys,

I'm not in the habit of buying sporting tickets - so forgive what is likely a ridiculously stupid question.

I'd like to buy my daughter Raptor's tickets for Christmas. She likes Miami, and I see the only home game for the Raptors and Miami is in March 2007.

Tickets, according to the Raptors site, are about $90 for the best available at this point.

Are there other options to purchase tickets, that are slightly more affordable?

I presume that this would be a popular game, so if I wait too long, it may be sold out - is that correct?

Hey Daisy

I think the Heat game is a premium game because of the players.

If your interested in other games...during xmas time or the Lakers..e-mail ryersonraptors@gmail.com....i'm sure the guy will be able to take care of you.

I usually get tickets from the Ryerson Raptors guy and he can get best seating if booked early.

I hope that helps answer you question.

thanks Doc,
My daughter really likes Miami - and since it's a Christmas present, I'm willing to go the bit of an extra mile to get her tickets to a game she'd really enjoy. I don't mind that the game takes place in March.

This ryerson guy - is he able to get better prices?

Bought my first ticks this year so I'm no expert..

What search options did you use? Just best available?
If you're not overly concerned with where the seats are, there are cheaper options. Just select "Upper Bowl Seating" in the "Section" pulldown thingy...the best available seats under that option are $60 each.

I just looked up 2 seats, and the "best available" came out to be Section 320:

Under the option you looked up, it gave me Section 102. The more expensive ticket is closer to the action, but it's on the baseline (behind one basket, really far from the other end) and I personally don't think it's that great a view. Even though the cheaper one is further up, realistically, it's not that bad.

If you go to the main page of the Raptors site:
http://www.nba.com/raptors/
and look at the very right hand column about halfway down, there's a nifty little feature called "Raptors 3D seats" that sorta gives you a look at what you'd be seeing.
