Hi,
I have a computer which is brand new and I turned it on and set it up with all my information. Now I am going to be giving this computer to someone else, can someone tell me how I can get the computer to take away my information(Computer Name, User Name, User password) and be ready for the next person to put their information in?
Thanks

In the control panel, first select classic view, then select users accounts.
Select the appropriate account from there and you can change it all.
Now for the computer name you can right click on my computer, select properties OR in the control panel select System.
Click the 'computer name' tab, and then hit the change button, and enter what you wish.
Of course this is all done in XP. :)

the best way would be to format and reload windows.

Seconded.

That, and everything else you've done to the system is gone, as well.

If you trust the person, then reformat. If you don't, then give them the PC without a Hard Drive. Nothing is unrecoverable, and new hard drives are $60-80 for 250Gb anyway.
