Hi.. I need a good dual layer burner because I want to burn backups of my 360 games. I have some futureshop GC's so if it's something that they carry, or can be PM'd with them it would be cool. Any reccomendations?

Hmm. But if you burn the backups, would they be playable on your 360?? Just wondering.

yo, alright, you have to do the firmware hack to you're 360 first.

THE BEST DVD Burner for doing 360 Backups is the Pioneer 111D!!!

remember, its the Pioneer 111D

I am pretty sure its the same one listed on the Futureshop.ca website here:

Why do you say the 111d is the best? does it do something special that other burners can't?

Yes, get the PIONEER DVR-111d.

It sets the booktype/layer break automatically.
Otherwise you have to configure, has not let me down so far on 50+ backups.

I use MEMOREX DL+ / DVR-111D.

It sets the booktype/layer break automatically.
Otherwise you have to configure, So if you have any other burner, you have configure the booktype/layer break manually thru software like Nero?

Using a benq dw1620 from almost a year back. Works great and no problems.
