the My Book Pro edition will have firewire and guessing will be available soon at FS, BB and the likes so that's why these models are selling cheaper now ..

the pro edition i've seen at other places like Amazon or Buy .. so sooner or later u'll find them at FS/BB

even if you ordered and phoned in last nite for the PM, it'll be "pushing it" b/c of the time left for the sale.


i guess you COULD ask the CSRs online to leave a note that the price at FS was $270 and there was stock left at that time, but f/ my exp., most of the CSRs don't do what customers ask them to do (or they forget)... :|

Thanks for the tip, mahjongmaniac. I thought of doing what you suggested, but if I thought for one second FS CSR would have gone the extra mile to help me, I would have done it. Like you, I guess I don't have that much faith in FS's CSR.
