Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if there are any Roger's wireless employees here that would be able to 'leak' some information regarding christmas/boxing day days?
I was at one of the stores a few days ago and an employee stated that the christmas promotions should be out fairly soon and by December 1st at the latest. She said that not much changes come boxing day.. the deals really remain the same.. She didn't tell me WHAT deals/promotions would be offered, but hinted at me coming back around that time if I can wait.
She HINTED because I was inquiring about the pay-as-you-go plan for $100/365 days. She said sometimes they offer new phones, or better rates.. so I have no idea what to think.
Any comments?
Thanks.

Q4 goodness was just released November 1st.
New Megatime plans, new Family plans for those on a contract.
$1 unlimited evenings and weekends, 1c evening and weekends for those on pay-go.
New phones in the way of the K790, Blackberry 8100 (Pearl). Pay-go gets the V360 and V190 as well as the standard Nokia 3220.
I worked last Christmas (at TS:CC), and it frankly changed almost every week. Sometimes it was activation fee waived, sometimes an extra accessory. So far this year, in the past couple of months, I've seen $50 accessory credits, $50 network credits, waived activation and the current Bluetooth Headset + $50 accessory credit. These deals, though, are on contract activations.
Basically, if you see something you like, jump on it. Rogers (and Rogers dealers; TS:CC etc.) won't usually have Boxing day "deals". They'd rather you signed up earlier ;P

No Rogers Employees wants to leak information unless they want to risk of being fired. I for one do work for Rogers and we get Q4 guides and such. Big letters in the book stating it's Confidential etc etc etc...

If I'm on a corporate plan and I have to add $5 a month to get the bolded part in the quote, can I call in and ask to have it changed?

Thanks.
So what's in store now for pay-as-you-go is basically what'll be there for a while.
If there are any other payasyougo deals, please let me know.
Which plan would be better, the $1.00 unlimited weeknight/weekday, or $1cent evening/weekends?
The only pro side to taking the 1.00 unlimited is that if you talk more than 100minutes on that particular day, otherwise the 1cent evening/weekend seems to the best, correct?

That was two weeks ago. The $25 spiffs were really nice too.
Edit: the best time to buy a cellphone is from the TSCC on a weekend. Its when all of the promos are in effect.
PAYGO customers with an old TDMA or analog phone will get a $35 credit when they buy a new PAYGO gsm phone. Something I AM allowed to share.
Thanks.

$1X30 is $30 a month. You get way more value if you go 1c evenings and weekends
