It opens today. I just came back from there during my lunch break.
Pro: Big, clean and lots checkout cashiers. The service seems to be better, at least at the first day of grand opening.
Con: Sells the same things, no big discounts like Costco and Sam's Club.
Location: HWY 48, 1 block south of Stouffville Rd.

That's cool...There's a Sam's Club nearby (HWY 7 and Yonge I believe) and if i'm not mistaken, "they're" making a new Costco around Leslie and HWY 404.
Huzzah for competition and increased road traffic (and road rage)!

That's not nearby man, that's a good 30 minute drive between the two?
I spoke to one of my friends, who is a manager at Markville Wal-Mart. He's currently helping out at the Supercentre and this is what he had to say when I said I was going to check out the store: "Good luck finding a parking spot." I can imagine the insane lineups and the crowdedness already.
If you've been to Markville Wal-Mart (McCowan and Hwy. 7), the supercentre is 3 times bigger than that... just a warning for all the walking you'll have to do. =P

That is right. There was a line of cars waiting to get in at around 1:00PM. I waited and drove around about 5 minutes before I found a spot. It was much better when I left there 30 minutes later.
