I wonder if including your RFD username would be a pro/con to the cover letter. In short, they would see more about you through your posts than most cover letters can say, then again it can backfire because they can see your trolling/threadcrapping history :D .

I would be interested but I'm already doing full time hours albeit on a contract term.

Never ever disclose anything other than professional information on a resume. That goes for providing gender, a picture of yourself, political affiliation or interests/hobbies. Sure, saying you're a hockey fan might get you a job, but it could also prevent you from getting it. It's just best to avoid that sort of stuff because you just don't know who will be reading it.

By the way, I don't mean to sound like an ass I just made that mistake before.

So, putting a hobby such as "getting plastered and having lots of sex" would be a bad thing on a resume? :cheesygri

The dress code part is basically for any ecommerce based business. Relaxed environments spell productivity. Whoever gets this hot deal, ask about getting some couches for the employee lounge if there aren't any ;)

RFD is offering 9.75 per hour.

I was offering 16.00 per hour for bilingual customer service rep.

BTW... thanks RFD!! Hired 2 people.

Maybe there should be a jobs section or something????

(We don't allow thongs either, but free wings and beer Wednesdays after work)

ps, Sorry Ryan, for thread jumping your posting.

I don't understand why the RFD mods like to break their own rules. Why the double standard? Sometimes threads are deleted/locked without even a good reason. This is pretty unprofessional. You wouldn't find other sites breaking their own rules.

Why can RFD break their own rules? Simple.. if they didn't post this thread, they could just place a large banner on this site for this job ad... and no one would complain. I prefer the thread.

It's only a thread. It's obvious it's not a 'hot deal'.

So what's the problem for the interview?!

Doesn't look serious for a future boss IMO if you don't want to go to TO for an interview...it's not like if you were living in B.C. or something...

Give you a chance, GO TO THE INTERVIEW if scheduled!

Ha, just move out West. Most fast food pays $10+ / hour. And if you have any experience or skills, you can probably find a job that pays much better. lol $9.75

That's not a rumour...but who the hell would want to live there???!??!?!? Also, it costs approx $1200 for a 1 bdrm apt there...and most have 2 or 3 ppl living in one.

Doing overnight at 7/11 in Calgary will get you like $12/hr.
