I'm in for $2, I'll probably meet up with you Wednesday. Will PM you to arrange this.
And I say that we just roll over the minor winnings into the next draw, regardless of the jackpot amount.
I'm also assuming that you will have scans of the tickets up somewhere!
Quick pik is fine.

How do I "Direct Deposit" this cash to you? I have to go to the bank and give them these numbers to pay you $2???
This is crazy because you could be working the pool at your work, take a picture of that (which you've setup) and show us that, as if those are the numbers or something.
And you'd have to put up a written agreement online or something of the sorts so that we're all in agreement that this exchange is going on ... and I don't even know if that would be enough :p
How do I do this? I'll pay $2, whatever ... just tell me how.
UrbanPoet
Nov 6th, 2006, 07:22 PM
all you gotta do is go to royal bank and say you wanna do a 3rd party deposit... then give them the account info.
Ive been an active member of the RFD off topic community for quite a while. Ive shown my face on Rfd, and @ meets so i can rest assure you that im not the type to pull a fast one if thats what ur thinking vibe. :D

Nov 6th, 2006, 07:25 PM
Can you do this at any bank?
And could you write up an agreement of sorts and put it in the first page of this thread AND put all of our names down with it.
At least that's SOMETHING than nothing.
I'm wondering if I can go to the BMO right beside me to do it.

I figured theres no harm is taking more Users for this group buy!
But from now on ill be accepting PAYPAL only as its much easier to organize.
NOte to people. You do not have to add a cent value to paypal payments.
Ive ceased accepting direct deposit payments b/c i dont want to assign people the subsequent cent values.
However im accepting paypal payments if you still want in on the group buy.
All you have to do is
1. paypal $3.00 to t9tran@ryerson.ca
2. include the following into your Paypal payment
i.) your RFD name
ii.) request your lucky numbers or quickpick. If you do not put a number i will assume its quick pick
iii.)that is all

Prize Matches Amount Winners
1st 6 $24,172,610.00 0
2nd 5 + Bonus $91,454.10 7
3rd 5 $2,090.30 253
4th 4 $73.50 13,631
5th 3 $10.00 257,648
6th 2 + Bonus $5.00 198,393
so if u get 5+ bonus does each winner get 91k? cause i always thought the jackpot is split....

Winning numbers were 6, 23, 30, 33, 37, 41, bonus 17.
I won the $2090 with: 6, 10, 23, 33, 37, 41.
So close to $91,000 (5+bonus) or the jackpot.
Y'think winning $2090 from 5/6 numbers is bad? I won $150 from Super 7 by matching 5/7 numbers! And that's a much harder lottery to win at.
Good luck to y'all... but with my $90 lotto spending... it's all mine...
(I can't believe there are idiots who lowballed a lotto pool!!!)
What I always found funny about lotto pools... I contribute to the pool, then buy my own ticket, then both the pool and my ticket win the jackpot, I'd be entitled to a majority of the jackpot... half of the total $36 ($18) because of my own ticket, plus my cut of the reamining $18 RFD pool win... wouldn't that just suck for the pool?

Yea a lot of work for $60 worth of tickets... next time there should be more options of how much you want to put in.
totally disagree. everyone should pay the same amount; everyone gets the same cut. once we get people saying 'oh i'll put in $4, i'll put in $3.5, i'll put in $6.66' it would become much more work to manage.
if this is a success we could perhaps do $4 a person for the next big jackpot.

Nah it's pretty easy with a spreadsheet... I'm not saying people can put in as much as they want, but have two options like $2 and $6.
All you do is have an excel spreadsheet with who paid what and then put in a formula in the next column of what they paid divided by total amount paid... then whatever the winnings are you take that % in the 2nd column and multiply it by the winnings.
The whole point of a pool is to buy as many tickets as possible to have the most chances to win, but it's limited when you're only putting in $2 each.

can someone explain how bonus # works?
lets say the winning numbers are:
1 2 3 4 5 6 and the bonus is 7.
And your ticket has
1 2 3 4 5 7 then you got 5 numbers + the bonus.

The bonus should count more times than just 5+, and 2+...do you know how many times I've had 4 plus the bonus and just got 10 bucks on Super 7. I mean those odds are pretty darn hard to achieve and it's wasted...lousy bonus.
