I've been squatting but not deadlifting.. about what should my deadlift weight be if I'm squatting 155? Thanks!

i think that depends on how much ur lower back can handle...squating is not as streneous on ur lower back as a dead lift

Agree, for me my legs are the weaks muscle. So I squat and deadlift the same weight, my body weight.
Remember, it is not how much you lift, but how well you control the lift.

For starting squats, whatever weight you can squat ( with perfect form ) at 10-12 reps for 3 sets should be a good ballpark weight.

It depends. For most lifters experienced doing both, deadlift weight is greater than the squat weight, as long as both are raw, and squats are done parallel or lower.
If you're untrained in the deadlift... your squat weight has no correlation to your deadlift weight.

The above lifter is correct, you should easily deadlift more than you can squat.
